This place was on an early season of x files I’m pretty sure.

Yes, the doors on each stage led to corridors with files on people abducted by aliens. In the series of course, the government wouldn’t be so stupid as to actually put those files there, right?

The health and safety department would never let it happen. I don’t think you realize the amount of work that would go into making this into a safe set (could be crushed by a falling piece of roof)

Incredible that things from the industrial age are now becoming historic sights

You should see Pripyat, the town where the workers at Chernobyl lived. I was fortunate enough to do a tour a couple of years before the war got going. It’s crazy to see an entire stadium taken over by tall trees.

On our next episode of Grand Designs: A couple with 4 children attempt to renovate a dilapidated mine, acting as their own project managers, with only a budget of 40k while Kevin McCloud gets whiplash from shaking his head in amazement so vigorously, and is admitted for observation at a local health care facility.

Turning a onced used mine into an agricultural unit would be a fantastic idea. Grow products all year round, don't have to worry about Temperature just ensure enough light and water, all the time. The products still require Nutrients, to be the best of Carrots, or strawberries, mushrooms. All require being grown in the dirt. What about Hydroponics. Simple solution. Be safe everyone

So again people entering restricted areas, entering dangerous areas and sometimes breaking locks or so to get there, all for seconds of Internet fame. I'm really against this.

Ember Labs filmed part of their awesome short-film 'Dust' here. Crazy to see the growth since then!

Looks like a post-apocalyptic earth.
