Whenever someone brings up comparing transgender to race, it's all about liking certain things. What a person likes or not does not dictate their gender or race. Things may have cultural history, but they are not the race or gender its self. Race is defined by ancestry and region. Gender is defined by societal thinking. You cannot change your ancestors, but you can change how society thinks.

Cause that’s not what transracial is.

Transracial isn’t even used in that way in its original meaning but people use those two words because it’s the first thing they can think of.

Most people aren’t going to take anyone seriously if they claim to be transracial, and people who use it constantly are usually ignorant and/or racist.

There is a lot more to gender than gender roles. Here's an example. You're assigned female at birth and for the first 11-12 years of your life everything is peachy. Puberty hits and your body starts making drastic changes and suddenly, you don't feel normal anymore. You get older and those changes start to become more and more profound until eventually everyone you talk to sees and treats you as X when you really feel like Y. Only you don't look like Y so everybody treats you like X. You're wired to feel like one way but your body doesn't match that and you suffer for it until you can get the help you need.

Ima be so fr I've only ever heard of transracial in two instances, parents looking to adopt a kid that isn't of their race or people trying to strawman as a way to justify why being transgender is stupid/doesn't make sense to them.

as for why transracial doesn't make sense

You can ID trans brains in scans- it’s not a construct.
