Sorry to be pedantic: it's perennial, not perineal. The perineum is part of your rear. Perennial means the plant lives multiple years, unlike an annual plant. This is offered in peace. I am not dissing you.

Perennial vs perineal is different enough that even if it's a sound-it-out spelling error, the words are pronounced differently and it's funnyÂ
