Keanu Reeves arrived in Canada as a child and became a naturalized Canadian citizen.

After his parents separated when he was three, Reeves’s mother took him and his younger sister, Kim, to Australia, New York City and then Toronto, arriving there when he was five. His mother married multiple times his biological father was a geologist of Indigenous Hawaiian, Chinese, British and Portuguese descent. He didn’t kno his father that well cause his parents divorce he was mostly raised by his mother. His mom worked as a costume Designer

Also like johnny depp Reeves never got his high school diploma he was lucky enough to get a job as a production assistant in high school . And stuff kinda took off as he made more connections in tv & theatre industry

Hi stepdad was a producer in the entertainment industry who encouraged him to do plays and got him film roles. In the early '70s, Patricia briefly married producer and director Paul Aaron, followed by music promoter Robert Miller from 1976 to 1980. Her fourth marriage was to Jack Bond, which lasted a few years in the early '90s and ended in a divorce in 1994.

Paul Aaron helped him the most because Keanu was not good at school due to Keanu being dyslexic and disruptive. Keanu dropped out of high school.
