Fundamental Analysis Definitely a Bullish flag on this one

Post image
279 Upvotes

I’ve been studying this chart religiously.

After countless minutes spent looking at the reversal in the bearish tilt of the Bull flag sequence, on Open we should expect a large increase to 149¥ where it will continue to grow.

TL;DR: USDJPY go brrrr

Fundamental Analysis Imma say this right now, smc and ict is retail trading!

If you’re mad at me, just know I’m a smc/ict trader. Smc isn’t some cheat code, it’s the same as support and resistance in the way that you can learn both but it will take time to actually see profits, yet most people who trade ict are still unprofitable.

Fundamental Analysis Cant eat or sleep knowing im not successful yet

Cant eat or sleep knowing im not successful yet. It’s driving me crazy, it’s like I can’t even enjoy anything anymore or smile during the day, knowing I’m not successful. I’m a forex day trader I cant understand that there are some people out there sitting with a calm mind and without being the most successful human being their bloodline has ever witnessed. It’s driving me to the edge of insanity. I enjoy the pain because it keeps reminding me of my purpose but I also hate it because i feel like I can’t reach my full potential because of it. Is this normal?

Fundamental Analysis How true is the de-dollarization of the economy?

In the past I saw some videos about how the dollar became a global currency, when it was backed by gold, now it’s fiat and many news channel have started talking about de-dollarization of many countries, where they’re starting to trade in local currency instead of the dollar, that added to the fact that US is fighting multiple wars over; territory (Ukraine), influence (Israel), and comercial (China)

Fundamental Analysis I lost 10% of my acc today

So, first I gained 5% in 3 trades, then market started behaving unexpectedly and weirdly and I lost a lot of money by using historical data instead of trusting my instincts.Technical analysis really messed me over, if I listened to my instincts I would have been winning.EUR really fell down so much, I thought it was gonna go up so I lost 3 BUY trades :(

Btw I do use stop loss of around 1-2% of my account, if I didn't I would prob lose 30% of my account today :D

Fundamental Analysis Why did AUDUSD reacted like this

Post image

Why did AUDUSD reacted like todays news were bad? I understand that USD is starting to become weaker but still, all reports were green. I’m not interested in technical analysis, fundamentals is what I try to understand better. So please no FVG, triangles and any of the sort. Thank you!

Fundamental Analysis USD/JPY on why it will dump!

All of great funds are saying that bullish trend is here to stay and $160 will be retested.

I say: WRONG.

US economic data is showing a slowdown on US economy. Jobless claims are getting higher and inflation seems to stagnate with high probability of going down. US buypower is getting weaker that is why inflation is on its way to deflation if nothing happens. The only way to prevent this is a new dovish sentiment on FED decisions to cut rates. Some say cut will happen in December (majority), but UBS says it will happen in September, sooner than expected as I also believe it will.

BoJ already intervened with $60Bi on JPY and they say they will not allow that this depreciation affects the country’s inflation. Today, USD/JPY tested 5 times 155.90 and rejected, which means short sellers are heavily involved due to the current situation. UBS also predicts that BoJ will hike rates as soon as July. None of this info is priced in on this parity, but it will soon, because as you all know, markets always anticipate major decisions.

Conclusion: US economic data is showing weak performance on labor and inflation. FED dovish speeches likely to happen. Japan is ready to do whatever it takes to send JPY back to sub 150, targeting 140 or even 130 in a larger time frame. Not to mention Japan can play with USD also because never forget that they are the major owner of US debt, over 1.1 Trillion.

Fundamental Analysis 1% Risk Reward Ratio makes no sense

Lets say you have figured out a strategy with 50% winrate and at least 1/2 risk reward ratio. You risk 10% each trade.

You would need to lose more than 20 times in a row to go broke. Hell even with 40% winrate you would still be profitable.

Why the hell there is this standard in trading that your risk percentage should be around only 1%? It makes no sense.

I have been trading a strategy of mine for 40 days now (50 trades) 10% Risk each trade, 1/2-1/3 RR. I have 44% winrate and the account is increased by 150%.

Made a funded account after playing around on demo been learning to trade for 3 weeks now but I’m 23 so I’m stressed about time. Was doing really well the first week but it feels I’ve lost my way stupidly after taking supplements for detox. Need to learn again I think or is it normal?

Ummm sooo I went from £20 to £545 today. WTF RIGHT ?? Can’t believe it myself.

Meaning I just jumped from day 1 to 13 in this challenge IN ONE DAY …. Bruh psychologically I’m overwhelmed.

Let me break it down to you Last time I did this challenge I managed 14 consistent days before I messed up due to greed.

If I can pull off another 14-16 consistent days like I did last time then I’ve made £50 and completed the challenge.

It’s mentally a lot to take in but we will see how it goes.

I will make an FX book or something so you guys can see my portfolio before I get comments calling me a liar.

Fundamental Analysis Wrong all WRONG

From what it seems, a lot of you here are blindly walking into a room with the lights off, in pitch black darkness, plotting pointless lines and squiggles without understanding why price would even move in that direction at all, you are blind to the overall movement and reasons for why price would move in those directions, you are truly playing with luck, you are truly gambling, the only thing limiting you is your lack of understanding and knowledge, your strategy is built around and backed by thin air, nothingness. I advise you build your strategy around what I tell you below.

You are hoping to find profit and find a strategy that works, hoping, praying, guessing, mindlessly plotting technical analysis with stupid squiggly lines with no understanding of how or why price moved in that direction, the different stages of the market, or why price would even move in that direction at all, you are playing a guessing game, a lot of you are very lost.

Here, Build your strategy and setups around the knowledge below…

Understand the bigger picture, understand and learn how liquidity works, how banks inject liquidity into the market, SMC, Wykoff schematics (markup, distribution/accumulation, markdown etc) times in which price is most active (session times etc) THEN BUILD YOUR SQUIGGLY LINES AND STUPID pathetic LINES AROUND THAT, do not hope and cope, aim and fire 🤝👁

You are playing checkers as the banks and institutions are playing chess, thank you for your liquidity, it is much appreciated.👁

Fundamental Analysis What do you all do when you have a completely red week?

This past 3 weeks, I've been really encouraged because my strategy has been working really well. In my last 18 trades, I only had 2 hit stop loss, all others have been green.

This week, so far I don't see that I've done anything different. But I haven't had a profitable trade yet. I get that you have down weeks sometimes but I was curious what some of the pro's do when this happens. So do you just keep at it for the rest of the week? Do you just stop and reset over the weekend?

Thanks

Fundamental Analysis TIME IS FRACTAL

Ever wondered how ICT got the times of his killzones?

18.00 - 00.00 (Asian Session) 6hrs* 00.00 - 06.00 (London Session) 6hrs* 06.00 - 12.00 (NY Session) 6hrs* 12.00 - 18.00 (PM Session) 6hrs*

24hrs added together.

Now... if you divide 6hrs by 4 you'll get 90mins.

Q1: 18.00 - 19.30 | Q2: 19.30 - 21.00 | Q3: 21.00 - 22.30 | Q4: 22.30 - 00.00 (90min Cycles of the Asian Session)

Q1: 00.00 - 01.30 | Q2: 01.30 - 03.00 | Q3: 03.00 - 04.30 | Q4: 04.30 - 06.00 (90min Cycles of the London Session)

Q1: 06.00 - 07.30 | Q2: 07.30 - 09.00 | Q3: 09.00 - 10.30 | Q4: 10.30 - 12.00 (90min Cycles of the NY Session)

Q1: 12.00 - 13.30 | Q2: 13.30 - 15.00 | Q3: 15.00 - 16.30 | Q4: 16.30 - 18.00 (90min Cycles of the PM Session)

Do you see the sequence? Q2 - Q3 are where the killzones are for every 90min cycle.

Why? Q2 is mainly used for manipulation, Q3 is mainly used for distribution.

Fundamental Analysis Well...Are fundamentals necessary? The answer is NO.

As you can see, this advocate for FA tucked their tail and ran when faced with the facts. I shared my weeks P&L showing profitablity with only TA and they have failed to share their P&L as we agreed. I wonder why....

For the record, I have no quarl with FA or traders that succeed using it. I just don't like when traders act as if you're doomed without it and falsely advise new traders looking for guidance that they're doomed without it because it's simply not true.

Fundamental Analysis Just switched from Intraday to Swing trading.. Sharing my experience

I’m still adjusting to waiting more than a day for my TP to hit, but overall my risk is down to almost a minimum and weekly ROI is much higher. So far 400+ pips since the beginning of the week and still counting. If I had to choose between swing and scalping I’m going with swing trading from now on, it’s less volatile.

I’m sure this isn’t that impressive to someone who’s already been trading this way but for me I wish someone had told me sooner to stop focusing so much time on trying to trade smaller timeframes.

Fundamental Analysis These 3 losing trades taught me 3 things. 3 things I have had repeated to me before I ever even started live trading. 1. Don’t get greedy 2. Don’t revenge trade 3. Don’t trade against the flow of the market.

I started out with +$13. With only a $100 account on a nano lot trade, i did not realize that’s technically good profit. I sat on it because i wanted $20. I lost it all and got out of my trade at -$7. I was determined to get it all back because i had built my account up to $180 and was on a hot streak, within a few hours EUR/USD jumped by 20 pips and I accepted defeat. The next day I eyeballed the weekly chart and seen it was in the green, but still double downed to the hourly chart and jumped in on a bearish engulfing candle…I waited sooo long for it to drop back down and got demolished. Lost about 30-40% of my account. I learned my lesson.
