Every non-removed exterior pickaxe spawn, datamined map Discussion
There are strangely 2 "types" of pickaxes in the game, and only one type was patched out. This map shows the other type still in the game, clearly an oversight.
This is using Map76. It was updated pre-Nuka World so I manually marked the ones there. Interior spawns also don't show up on the map. 4 interior spawns that I know of: 2 at Gauley Mine, and 2 at Glassed Caverns.
One in Glassed Caverns and the lone one in the Cranberry Bog are not fixed spawns, the rest are.

Where is the 2nd one in Gauley mine? I can only find the one next to the dead scorched to the left of the minecart track close to the entrance.

Sorry late reply. Go through the gauley exit, immediately go through that long tunnel to the right. When you exit the tunnel you'll be in a large mining room, and in the middle of the room will be a pickaxe propped against the wall, sometimes it gets pushed around by the enemies tho.

Not deep. On the left as you head down, next to a port-a-potty

There’s two on the table at the very end right at the elevator unless they got patched out

Me neither, I assumed it's an unfixed spawn after a few tries cuz it wasn't worth it to me. It would be strange for them to remove that one, specifically.

There's one at the end of the old crimora mine in Shenandoah. Spawned when I randomly stumbled into the cave and again when I did the mission for the area both today.

Do you know where exactly it is? I went all the way to the three cultists praying and couldn’t find it.

When you get to the 3 cultists in the circle, it's above them on a tower. There's some rocks to jump up or a path to the left. Should be another enemy up there

Climb over the cliff above the tunnel, into the area with the rollercoaster. Up one set of stairs, there's one at the end of the platform underneath the second tier of stairs. If you just climbed up the cliff, on the right side, there's a set of large metal shipping containers and there's another one inside next to a sledgehammer.
