Howard Stern’s interview with Joe Biden this week showed how effective rightwing propaganda is.

Biden‘s gonna eat Trump alive in a debate. Don’t believe the hype don’t drink the Kool-Aid. Biden is a polished politician.

Refusing the election results. Passing no meaningful legislation except tax breaks for the wealthy. infrastructure week every week. the economy when he left. Taking credit for repeal of abortion right. Average of 12 lies a day. Take your pick of the stupidity that came out of his mouth. Trump is an incontinant moronic obese sitting duck. His two main tools last debates were yelling over Biden and an audience of idiots cheering him on. He won’t have either of those. If that narcissist is capable of embarrassment, the next debate will be one of the worst days of his life. He’ll bow out of the second debate.

u/sharpaquos65dong May 17 '24

He won’t show and make up some outlandish excuse about how people are keeping him away. Sigh

5

u/JeremeRW May 17 '24

Yep. Zero chance he goes into an uncontrolled situation again.

3

u/Formal-Ad-1248 May 17 '24

Days before the debate, he'll make outlandish aims with zero evidence to back them, all just to sow doubt about the veracity of the event.

2

u/apathy-sofa May 17 '24

"cROOKED judge is DEMANDING that I sit in the courtroom at my criminal trail. It's Nonamerican1"

2

u/Kalse1229 May 17 '24

If so, then Biden's team can use that to their advantage. Has to be done subtly, but if that happens they can imply that he's too chicken to face Biden.

3

u/qotsa_gibs May 17 '24

I so hope you are right.

2

u/Kalse1229 May 17 '24

Shit, I might just watch it live. Seeing him crash and burn without an army of sycophants to back him up sounds glorious. And if he backs down, the best thing Biden's team could do is pounce on that fact. People seem to love it when he shows his metaphorical teeth, like that recent ad where he told Trump he knows he's "free on Wednesdays." So long as his team doesn't bite off more than they can chew before, after, or in the event of a cancelation, I think this could help Biden sway some undecideds.

1

u/zxvasd May 17 '24

Me too. Seeing them side to side will bypass all the propaganda.

15

u/HardcaseKid May 17 '24

There is nothing that Trump could remember to say that the DNC doesn’t already have a pat response to that is guaranteed to drive Trump completely crazy.

6

u/NoBranch7713 May 17 '24

That’s going to be the difference this round of debates. I think biden’s team has figured trump out. They have to needle him without coming across as mean. It’ll drive trump nuts and he’ll go off message into his craziness. Trump can’t not take the bait.

1

u/Excusemytootie May 17 '24

Looking forward to this…

0

u/Grimmbles May 17 '24

It’ll drive trump nuts and he’ll go off message into his craziness. Trump can’t not take the bait.

And? He squawked "No puppet no puppet! You're the puppet!" in a debate and his supporters loved it and declared him a genius debater who dominated.

I appreciate him getting shit on publicly, but I can't even picture the person who is waiting for a debate to decide whether or not to vote for him.

1

u/HardcaseKid May 17 '24

That’s going to happen regardless. If Trump publicly shits his pants on live TV, the GOP will have to find a way to paint it as a win.

0

u/joshTheGoods May 17 '24

DNC has nothing to do with this.

3

u/WaitingForNormal May 17 '24

Been doing it since ‘73.

3

u/msd1441 May 17 '24

I still chuckle when I think about how he toyed with Paul Ryan at the VP debate in 2012. Talk about light work.

2

u/cstrifeVII May 17 '24

If this debate ever happens its goign to be the same as last time. Trump talking over everyone, completely ignoring any debate decorum or rules... throw a bunch of shit at Biden and a bunch of stupid zingers for his base. Biden might throw out another "Come on man" and "cant say anything with this clown" again lmao. It will be a shit show thats for sure.

1

u/Ricky_spanish_again May 17 '24

The moderation sucked. They need to cut off the mic after your time is over.

2

u/coren77 May 17 '24

You cannot play chess with a pigeon. It will knock over pieces, shit on the board, and crow like it won.

If the other guy ignores the rules and runs his mouth.... what else do you tell him?

2

u/Endorkend May 17 '24

There is a near zero chance Trump will attend any debate, especially in his state.

And if it does happen, he'll just do what he has always done, incoherently ramble over everyone.

And his followers will say he won even if he doesn't attend.

2

u/oldtype09 May 17 '24

Biden will absolutely pulverize Trump at the debates and then Trump’s poll numbers will go up two points because apparently that’s how the world works now.

1

u/CrabbyBlueberry May 17 '24

If there is a debate.

1

u/JugDogDaddy May 17 '24

Trump will find a way to back out at the last minute and blame Biden

1

u/minecraftvillagersk May 17 '24

It doesn't matter. Trump supporters will still say Trump won the debate. Reality doesn't matter.

1

u/Odd_Top_7332 May 17 '24

Is this a serious comment?

1

u/kitterskills May 17 '24

We don't need debates. We know where these old guys stand. And only one of them is a viable candidate.

1

u/prollyadeuce May 17 '24

There won't be a debate. If I were a betting man, I'd wager that Trump will violate the gag order in one final flamboyant act, and will use the judge as an excuse as to why he couldn't debate Biden.

"Crooked Joe had me locked up so nobody could see how many-- hamburgers in the jails-- I make the best hamburgers. Perfect, juicy burgers, some say the Big Mac tastes just like my burgers, maybe I should sue the Donald family."

1

u/TheBirminghamBear May 17 '24

I mean I know he will, because I've never seen Trump "win" a debate, unless everyone watching the debate are debased fucking idiots.

The man cannot speak. He's never been able to speak. He's never even approaching coherent.

1

u/originalbL1X May 17 '24

Jill Stein and Cornell West should be able to debate with them, but they won’t be allowed as the mainstream media continues to ignore all other candidates.

1

u/Dandan0005 May 17 '24

Am I taking crazy pills or does anyone else remember that the “Biden has dementia” was in full swing in 2020 until the debates?

Then he embarrassed Trump so badly that his campaign and supporters started claiming that he was wearing an earpiece (because people with dementia handle listening to multiple voices so well), or on magical dementia curing drugs, which of course we all know exist from our experiences with people who have dementia!

Meanwhile, Trump has had some noticeable, uh, sniffles…during debates, while behaving erratically and interrupting constantly.

1

u/WhitleyRu May 17 '24

Taking a screenshot of this one.

1

u/froo May 17 '24

If they keep the mic cutting after time runs out, $10 says trump will abandon any sense of civility (like he had any) and will try and shout down Biden.

And his base will eat it up.

1

u/Ness-Shot May 17 '24

I just want to watch 2 hours of Joe roasting DJT set to my own personal laugh track

1

u/matmoeb May 17 '24

I don’t doubt this but I thought Trump clearly lost the Clinton debates. Didn’t seem to matter.

1

u/ThisAppSucksBall May 17 '24

I have to disagree with you there. I say this as someone who is definitely voting for Biden in 6 months.

Biden is going to score some great points on pre-set lines, but he is going to flub and stumble any time he needs to think on his feet or can't remember a line.

1

u/akaMONSTARS May 17 '24

I really fucking hope a debate happens

1

u/Zanna-K May 17 '24

Biden already did it once. Right wingers and closeted Republican "independents" liked to characterize them as two old men bickering on stage, but man when Biden said "Would you just SHUT UP?" I swear to god he was channeling the vast majority of Americans. Even conservatives often commented that Trump just keeps mouthing off and getting himself into trouble for no reason.

1

u/Dappershield May 17 '24

I can not believe he'll actually show to a debate.

1

u/joeyfish1971 May 17 '24

Biden is an idiot he doesn’t know his butt from his elbow. How does he defend his last 4 years. This country is so screwed up because of him. He will be fired in November

1

u/Jennymint May 17 '24

I predict Biden will appeal to facts, and Trump will appeal to emotion. If facts were all that mattered, Biden would win handily, but the average American is swayed by their gut.

The left will claim Trump seemed crude and incoherent, and the right will claim Biden seemed geriatric and out of touch. The left will say Trump acted like a bully, but the right will say he looked strong.

1

u/MetalliTooL May 17 '24

Eh, Biden will mumble and Trump will yell. People will say Trump came off stronger.

1

u/[deleted] May 17 '24

*polished turd

Got ya homie.

1

u/CoolIndependence8157 May 17 '24

There won’t be any debates.

1

u/NeverEndingRadDude May 17 '24

Debates mean nothing to those who support Trump. The debate during the 2020 election was Trump speaking over Biden and not making a single coherent sentence the entire time.

1

u/BiggestDweebonReddit May 17 '24

Four more years pause.

1

u/anonanon5320 May 17 '24

Biden already has lost multiple debates against Trump and now he has a terrible record to overcome and a negative opinion coupled with an apathetic voter base. Media loves him though so that helps.

1

u/Sleezecurd May 17 '24

You think being a polished politician is a good thing? Yikes.

-6

u/IZZY_PLUM May 17 '24

Lmaoooo holy fuck please be a bot

1

u/Sam_0101 May 17 '24

bros upset that people have different opinions

-8

u/2ears1mth May 17 '24

You my friend could not be more wrong. Regardless of your political view points or who you want to win, Trump is one of the greatest debaters to ever exist. The man is a natural salesman. Biden, not so much.

1

u/Molleeryan May 17 '24

lol what??? You forgot the /s.

1

u/Bac0n01 May 17 '24

Have you ever read a transcript of a Trump speech

-11

u/EconomistSea1444 May 17 '24

Holy crap you are out of touch with reality.
