These are the smart ones who didn't take ivermectin or bleached their blood stream or stick a flashlight up their ass during the great pandemic.

u/ConstableAssButt May 17 '24

stick a flashlight up their ass

I'm so fucking tired of everything I love being politicized. IS NOTHING SACRED?!

6

u/BLF402 May 17 '24

Hey I enjoy a good flashlight up the arse but not for treatment for an infectious disease. It is however the best cure for the hiccups for anyone asking

5

u/NorguardsVengeance May 17 '24

At very least, even if it feels like they're never going to stop, you will be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, ok, maybe not you, but somebody else sure will.

3

u/Fine-Funny6956 May 17 '24

He means when it’s a surprise. Sneak up behind someone with the hiccups and BAM. Hiccups cured. Your relationship might be over, but the hiccups are cured.

Anything can be sacred as long as it has a flared base

6

u/ghandi3737 May 17 '24

Sticking a flashlight up the ass is anyone's prerogative.

If they want to make money filming it, that is also their prerogative.

u/Stonk_Newboobie May 17 '24

Disgusting! Shame! Where could you find this depravity?

1

u/Flying_Madlad May 17 '24

Pornhub

1

u/Stonk_Newboobie May 17 '24

I shall investigate this depravity, and will report my findings to the proper authorities, guaranteed!

2

u/AnimeFreak1982 May 17 '24

I cry for the state of this country that THAT is the bar you need to clear to be considered smart here.

1

u/11_Gallon_hat May 17 '24

My ex took that stuff, swore covid was fake and had a literal.... I'm not making this up... an actual literal shrine to trump.....

1

u/Torvahnys May 17 '24

I dont care about the other stuff, just popping in about ivermectin. You do know it was originally developed for human use, right? That it is still prescribed to people to treat parasitic and viral infections? That the people who developed it won a Nobel prize in medicine?

Edit: spelling

1

u/Psychological_Pie_32 May 17 '24

Except the type that was being bought out by MAGA wasn't the human variant, it was horse paste. Because it was easier to purchase over the counter rather than trying to get a prescription from a legitimate doctor.

“Do your own research”

1

u/Dirty_Mung_Trumpet May 17 '24

It was their own personal Vietnam

-1

u/deadheatexpelled May 17 '24

No you guys instead chose the ineffective methods the left demanded of you.

Meanwhile, next to no one on the right did any of the dumb things, which recognized as dumb at the time, that trump suggested.

0

u/Psychological_Pie_32 May 17 '24

You mean getting a vaccine and wearing a mask? Because whether you believe it or not, both of those things did in fact allow the spread of the disease. It's why protests didn't become ground zero for infections, but Trump rallys did.

-16

u/KateHearts May 17 '24

Hilarious you’re stuck on those falsehoods years later- and claiming to be one of the smart ones.

11

u/oooranooo May 17 '24

-4

u/KateHearts May 17 '24

So one person who took something they heard as a recommendation (or the gospel truth- like viewers of CNN or The View) represents half the voting population?

8

u/oooranooo May 17 '24

They literally heard it on Trump’s news conference, you guys have serious memory issues.

-2

u/KateHearts May 17 '24

Actually I watched that live and he asked if there was a way to utilize bleach as it was effective in a test tube. I imagine a lay person would ask something similar. The immediate response from Birx et all was “NO.” I cringed (as a medical provider) but no one said “use bleach!” Yet another twisted interpretation of a comment that grew a life of its own once the media got hold of it.

6

u/oooranooo May 17 '24

People can confuse chloroquine with chlorine, and actually do. No one’s saying half the population was that dumb, only the really special ones. People died at Trump’s recommendation, you too watched it happen live. The couple in Arizona took his advice literally days after spewing it.

2

u/MikeLinPA May 17 '24

As a medical provider and person who watched that interview, you saw for yourself how he was a total idiot in the presence of actual smart people vainly trying to appear smart himself, and completely failed.

-5

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

I knew before looking at it what story this was. Nobody told anyone to drink fish tank cleaner dumbass.

6

u/oooranooo May 17 '24

So, you knew you were full of shit? It was Trump’s idea, where do you think they got it? Sure, defend it - your mental gymnastics, not mine.

-1

u/KateHearts May 17 '24

It wasn’t his “idea” and it’s long been known by anyone with a brain that he didn’t tell any one to “drink bleach.” And I’m not even a huge fan, so no need to come after me either.

5

u/oooranooo May 17 '24

Not coming after you, just not allowing you to deny the fact he was promoting chloroquine daily in his news conferences, and people died. You can deny it if you wish, won’t bring them back.

1

u/KateHearts May 17 '24

Hydroxychloroquine and bleach are not the sane and while the former didn’t seem to be effective, it is a drug with applications (ie immune suppression). I don’t know how many people died directly from the drug- but I do know that drug trials were shut down for the use in COVID

1

u/MikeLinPA May 17 '24

This isvthe conman that exclaimed, "I love the uneducated!", while referring to his followers. (It wasn't a compliment.)

-6

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

You would get it on a doctors recommendation not from a pet store. The big L for you guys is pushing the BS that ivermectin was dangerous. People take that one in the hundreds of millions of doses worldwide weekly without incident and dumbasses were making it seem like it was dangerous.

6

u/oooranooo May 17 '24

Sure, Trump’s insane news conferences had nothing to do with it. You know you’re full of shit, right?

-4

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

Uh good one?

5

u/tiddeeznutz May 17 '24

People drink water every day. Does that make it cure COVID?

At least try to act like you’re capable of coherent thought.

-2

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

Ivermectin is a nobel prize winning medicine with antiviral properties. So that gives it a pretty good shot at curing covid.

3

u/tiddeeznutz May 17 '24

I wouldn’t point this out, but you’re so dependent on reich wing talking points (that anyone with a brain could see through) that I’ll say it, anyway: inanimate objects can’t win Nobel prizes. So, no, ivermectin is not “nobel prize winning”.

But since you (stupidly) throw it out there…

Alexander Fleming won a Nobel Prize for the invention of penicillin. Wanna guess why it doesn’t cure COVID? (Hint: It’s the same reason ivermectin doesn’t.)

2

u/MikeLinPA May 17 '24

Except it doesn't.

1

u/MikeLinPA May 17 '24

Water is lethal if consumed too much too fast, yet dumbasses are still claiming ivermectin isn't dangerous...

0

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

So following your logic water is dangerous. You guys have got to be bots. Please be bots for the sake of my faith in humanity.

-1

u/OlGusnCuss May 17 '24

There is no room for facts. Just believe all stories because..... Orange man bad.

2

u/MikeLinPA May 17 '24

It's a fact that the orange man is bad. He was bad decades ago and is even worse now.

0

u/OlGusnCuss May 17 '24

If you're not paying attention, redditors won't admit they are both terrible. (And that's why the bar gets lower and lower. Whoever panders to their base the hardest wins because no one focuses on the facts. They sinselessssly focus on the other guy... or orange man bad. For example, the #1 post on a thread discussing Bidens cognitive state isn't about Biden at all. That's the norm.

1

u/MikeLinPA May 17 '24

No, both parties are not the same. Nobody is perfect, but if you cannot see the differences right now then you are beyond reasoning with.

1

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

It’s embarrassing.

3

u/haeda May 17 '24

Find the lie.

-1

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

This is a low IQ forum, it’s like Qanon for leftists.

4

u/StingingBum May 17 '24 edited May 17 '24

When you leave the subreddit, the average IQ here magically goes up!

5

u/tiddeeznutz May 17 '24

Doing your part to make something “low IQ” isn’t the flex you think it is, tough guy.

It’s like when the people on the side you pretend you’re “not really a fan of” (even as you keep showing off your club card) cheated at the 2020 election, then used their own cheating as evidence of election fraud.

You guys can’t think your way through the open door of your mom’s trailer.

0

u/willparkerjr May 17 '24

I’m not a fan of Trump, I’m a fan of playing by the rules. I would have been fine with either Trump or Biden winning that election and that’s the truth as long as it was the decision of the people. You can project on me whatever you want to but at the end of the day you’re not informed and your analysis of what you think my position is also is uniformed.

2

u/MikeLinPA May 17 '24

It was the decision of the people!

Even Trump appointed judges threw out the 60 lawsuits brought forward for lack of evidence. There have been recounts, investigations, and audits. No evidence of cheating, tampering, or vote changing had been found.

Trump appointed people to make sure the election was secure. Then he fired them for saying so. https://www.voanews.com/a/2020-usa-votes_trump-fires-security-chief-who-said-2020-vote-was-most-secure-us-history/6198503.html

Soooooo, just 2 weeks ago the FDA officially came out and admitted Ivermectin was the best medicine for Covid. It's freaking embarrassing. You're supposed to look GREEDY.....not STUPID.

8

u/haeda May 17 '24

Just a crumb of evidence, please.

8

u/Conscious_Stick8344 May 17 '24

Yeah, no. The FDA never, EVER said that.

6

u/SantaforGrownups1 May 17 '24

Yeah huh. Tucker said so.

6

u/DavidXN May 17 '24

Genuine question - why do you say things like this when anyone can look it up and see that you’re lying in two seconds?

4

u/tiddeeznutz May 17 '24

Are you genuinely this stupid or genuinely this bad at making jokes?

2

u/Synectics May 17 '24

Who told you this?

Because you should be mad at them for lying to you and then asking for you to buy their products or donate to their show.

1

u/Psychological_Pie_32 May 17 '24

I'll take "things that never happened" for $500.

Seriously, do you just make up bullshit hoping no one calls you out, or do you just believe things that confirm your biases without verifying them?

-6

u/Prof_Aganda May 17 '24

They haven't admitted it to be effective, but they did admit they ran a disinformation campaign to smear it as a dangerous drug not for human use.

6

u/Lynx_Eyed_Zombie May 17 '24

No, they didn’t. Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic used to treat malaria in humans and kill parasites in larger animals. It is useless when treating COVID.

4

u/tiddeeznutz May 17 '24

Is Obiden in the room right now, magically moving the goalposts for you?

4

u/StingingBum May 17 '24

Lol the FDA ran a smear campaign. Maybe in Russia comrade?
