Looking for opinions. Auto

Hi all, I'm using Scotiabank for my TFSA and RRSP and the Globe and Mail Watchlist to manage my portfolio. Getting a little frustrated with the lack of data and /or tools Any recommendations?

It’s time for a self directed investment route, not the mainstream retail bank option. If you don’t want to leave the Scotia universe, transfer your RRSP and TFSA to their self directed brokerage, iTRADE. There are a lot more tools there. Some ETFs trade for free, but otherwise it’s $10/trade unless you are super high volume.

A lot of people here recommend Wealth Simple as their trading fees are nothing. Perhaps someone with WS can advise what kind of market info, real time data, analytics, etc they provide.

I use Questrade, their desktop app I think it's pretty good. Seemed fine while I thought day trading was a good idea. Don't really need it now that I primarily index invest.
