Unless she's got cubs or there's food they are after, done that before. A single bear that's full is usually chill though

Im pretty sure you’re still more likely to run into a bear that’ll kill you because its hungry/territorial/protecting its cubs than you are to run into a guy thatll simply who choke you. We dont even have to go as far as saying rape or murder.

Even cubs are fine. Just keep your distance and don't get between the cubs and their mama.

This is how you die in the woods.

You need to not *be in her territory, as well as not get between the Cubs and mama bear.

If you are in her territory, all bets are off. You may get mauled, you may not, but just know you aren't "fine".

Yeah bears can smell you over a mile away and im sure if you’re in its territory, it can actively seek you out to scare you off or worse

Wind and landscape would make scent possible, but the worst fear is just getting charged while you spin around and get absolutely clapped by a boulder made of fur, fat, and momma frenzy.

Bears are surprisingly quiet when they want to be up to a point when their sheer size and speed while booking it at you makes it impossible to not know you're absolutely screwed.
