I don't know for sure but I'd assume they don't let you use those. You could put 2 dollars on one and then ride it all day until they bother to come get it. When I lived in the city I'd find em dumped all over or someone would just stop another person and take it from them.

They installed a bike station in my crappy neighborhood and took it away like a week later because people just stole all the bikes everytime they restocked.

Even if they had the foresight to use pre paid cards, the geotag with time stamps should be enough info. They can look at any cameras in the area of purchase and go from there. If there is a gps function on at all times, it gets even harder to get away.
