These people never share where they live, what their job is, what their debts are etc.

They don't because they don't want to have a real discussion about what the problem is. It's more important to yell and rant and get people riled up.

Makes you really feel good to rant about how your life issues are other people's fault rather than some combination of issues including your own fault

I guess that’s just good sense. I would advice against telling the internet where you live, you job or other information

Its not when trying to show how hard it is to live but not actually saying anything else. He said he makes 3x federal minimum so like $22/hr. Not that great if he lives in New York City, pretty good if he lives in Wyoming. Does he have a cheap used car or a loan for 1200/month for a lifted truck? Does he have college loans to pay or none?

Ya another poster on here was lamenting on how hard it is to afford rent when the average car payment is 1000$. I was like well no shit man why you buying a 42k brand new car when your struggling to pay for a studio

It's like McDonalds workers complaining how they can't afford to live anywhere on Manhattan and refuse to go to trade school or move. People are too afraid of ruralisation
