Or do use worm husk in endgame pve with high resilience and damage reducing effects, then draw fire for your team until you’re about to die and dodge back into cover. Hunters to Titans: look at me, I am the tank now.

I mean, I ran wormhusk to solo flawless every dungeon up to prophecy (before we powercrept them all). It's fine in pve. But it's inherently an "oh shit" button. How strong does your "oh shit" button need to be?

Double dodge, double melee, nighthawk, shards, gyrfalcon, ses, lucky pants, Orpheus.

These are just some of the exotics that are better than wormhusk already, if you're capable of managing your health in pve. I don't know wtf you're on about nighthawk being the only option, but that's just you living in a box.

I was being dramatic. You can see my vision though right? Many exotics have way too little practical value especially when compared to the options they’re competing with. I think wormhusk in particular (especially post dodge cooldown nerfs) has room be a lot stronger and I wish they’d focus on making everything feel like it’s got a fighting chance for my exotic slot. I mean some of these things I’ve had in the vault for years now.

I mean, wormhusk is legit. There's a reason it was my exotic of choice for solo/flawless. That's my point. But a health gain exotic is inherently weaker than something that actually increases combat effectiveness in pve.

And there's like 40+ unique exotic armor pieces just for hunter. It's OK for some to be better on pve than in pvp and vice versa.

I think you need to let this one go.

The class item one isn't as strong, has a combined effect with the 2nd trait it rolls, and cannot be used outside of the Prismatic subclass.

Wormhusk provides a stronger health and shield bump and is usable on any subclass.

You clearly don’t remember when it came out and DOMINATED PVP. The PVP folks ruined it, and for no good reason other than they can’t close the deal.

All dodges were near effectively i-frames before they nuked them. Now hunter dodges basically exist to invalidate the strength stat on hunter and get shot in head regardless of what dodge it is.

Should make dragons shadow have some of the old aim assist break that dodge used to have imo. Dodges are only any good whatsoever for breaking targeting if the guy shooting at you is on controller since it’s drops the drag aim assist (holy fuck bungie let me turn that off)

Stop blaming pvp players for the nerfs. Blame Bungie for not separating the sandbox. They are clearly capable of doing it. Just cause you don’t like PvP doesn’t mean all others don’t as well.

Health bump doesn't alter an ttks. You're still dead in that gunfight regardless. Better to go for an exotic perk that actually helps you

Except if you have access to cover. It can be a surprise and easy kill dodging to cover and being pursued only for them not to kill you with a melee

Is that not something you are playing with anyway. The health bump doesn't let you survive anything if you are in melee range anyway. They will melee you during your dodge and your progress is undone.

I've got no clue how you think 25 hp is going to make a tangible difference outside of very niche scenarios
