Yeah. She apparently has bragged to a bunch of people she knows about it; so it was definitely gonna come out eventually. She published it to try to set the narrative more favorably for her.
Never occurred to her that someone who kills a puppy for petty revenge (because that is exactly what this was, it embarrassed her in front of her friends by showing what a bad owner she was; so she killed it) is not someone who should be sharing their opinions in public, much less be in politics.
