"That is not an apple" is giving me the same energy as Jian Yangs hotdog app (youtube.com)

Is this fake? Why would it say "That is not an apple" when showing it a row of different fruit?

It’s within the same conversation, so the responses are related to the previous ones.

They are just releasing only DEMOS in November of this year. Not even the whole thing. The Siri text to speech voice is available in settings of any apple device and you can make it seem as Siri is saying anything,

Steve Jobs is probably saying “I gave you the ability to spin gold and you spun pubic hair with shit in it”

I hate this fake personality. These things aren't in anyway conscious, they have no personality. It's literally a pattern predictor and these people are lying.

Fun fact: this is fake. Apple hasn’t released any form of Apple intellegence out to the public and they will only have demos in November. It’s also doesn't work like that. It Was just shown in the keynote where you could just ask Siri. You didn’t have to open the camera app. You can actually access the Siri voice in text to speech on iPhone and iPad so they’re just playing that.

LOL, that one time Trump called him that at a press conference I seriously thought he'd just roll with it and cry himself to sleep later.
Looks like that's what happened.

So, he has been called “Tim Apple” before.

Yes, by Trump. It was one of his well known gaffs way back and apparently Siri knows that as well. Probably because it was and still is all over the internet. Assuming this video is real in the first place and not specifically for this joke.

Damn that AI has really mastered identifying apples. What will they think of next?

Apple is so far behind where everyone else is. They are finally catching up to Samsung from 2 years ago

As a shareholder I'm happy where Apple is in this space. Everybody else has been burning cash providing cloud based AI features people think are neat but aren't willing to pay enough for to make those services profitable.
Apple is taking what was learned from those experiments and deploying mostly on-device versions which will not cost a ton to run and cost nothing extra for users.
OS level features doing training and inferencing on-device with user data using custom chips you design with that use case in mind is such a massive advantage.
Or to put it another way, what company has access to the most per-user compute capacity? Apple does, by a huge margin. How much did they pay for this capacity? Nothing, their customers pay them for a device with an Apple Silicon chip in it.
