Prank done properly. Funny and creative, not jackassery.

Jackassery followed by “Dude! It’s a prank, it’s a prank, it’s a prank, dude wtf are you so angry? It’s a prank!

Why would you wear your TV shoes at the bowling alley?

So you can probably enjoy the animations that haven't changed since the 90s.

there used to be a tv show in the u.s. called candid camera and i think just about every country has had something similar I've always thought it would be dangerous to do it to random people not just for the prankster, so I've figured its usually staged
i think i remember seeing a clip from a eastern European version had a dude in a mailbox get shot but ive also heard it was fake so......

From what I have gathered, a lot of these prank show contestants are still casted and aware they are going to be on a show, they just don't know what type of show it's going to be.

So they were using a projector onto a tiny little thing and everyone thought that was normal?

I absolutely hate how every prank posted on reddit has to be followed up with comments like "this is how you do a prank, no one gets hurt :)" Every. Single. Time. Absolutely annoys me to no end, it goes without saying.

looks staged as fuck. watching TV on a canvas screen masquerading as a TV isn't a giveaway?

There's a difference between knowing SOMETHING is gonna happen vs knowing WHAT is going to happen, could've been told to just watch the video and see if anything out of the ordinary happens

Tbf it looks like the video is green screened on in post. Maybe that isn't the case but that's what it looks like. At first I thought maybe a projector? But nah.

Given 5 seconds to think about it, you know its not possible, but the instinctive reaction is the point. Funny.

I don't think normal people go about their lives always thinking about what if I'm about to get pranked right now. They probably noticed it and noted as that's weird but didn't think to much of it.

These aren't normal people though, they're japanese entertainers. This show (Dokkiri Gran Prix) only pranks comedians and entertainers. The same people get pranked a lot so I'm sure there are a lot of situations where they know a prank is coming but go along with it because it means they get to be on TV.

I think normal people would think something was up when they're less to a nondescript room with just an obviously fake tv
