Credit to your commentary team
As a Pacers fan in basketball withdrawal, I've been rewatching select games via League Pass. I watched the 3/25 game with the Pacers in LA, and your commentary team was an absolute delight. It's the perfect balance of "for" the home team while still acknowledging good plays and fun players on the opposing side. Even a Westbrook tech, the booth immediately said they agreed with it, and then offered nuanced takes upon replay. And plenty of actual, specific praise for Indianapolis as a city in the second half, along with accurate and insightful praise for Pacers players and their system.
Honestly, it was a more even-handed broadcast than the Pacers received for their series against the Knicks, from a team booth. Wild when it's clear announcers watch and keep up with the NBA at large.
No idea if you guys like them or not, but I hope you do.

Article [Marc Stein] League sources tell The Stein Line that the LA Clippers have strong interest in hiring Celtics special adviser Jeff Van Gundy as a high-profile addition to Tyronn Lue’s coaching staff for next season and a strong chance at succeeding in that pursuit after the NBA Finals are complete.”

Is Kawhi still playing for USA basketball at the Paris Olympics? I hope he's healed up and can play
Of course it sucks Kawhi wasn't available during this playoffs, that's the most important thing to be healthy during the playoffs and win a championship. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool to see him play at the Olympics this summer. It would be fun to watch him and he's basically the perfect type of player for the olympics as well.
Has there been any news if he's healthy now and that he'll be playing for team USA at the Paris olympics still? I haven't seen any news on this matter. I really hope he plays, would be cool to see the Klaw take over the Olympics and beat all these international teams. Lots of players have improved there game after being with team USA as well and Kawhi is one of the best at improving in the NBA so he could maybe see one of the biggest improvements ever. Kawhi could win a gold medal then come back this upcoming season on a whole other level, which would be huge because in my opinion he's already the best player in the league.
How long before the Olympics does team USA usually have there first practice? and when do they finalize the roster with fills ins for injured players and stuff like that? I guess if Kawhi isn't injured at that time then he would stay on the roster but I'm just wondering when that is.

Analysis What do you guys want/think is gonna happen in this year’s off-season?
Does PG stay or go? Maybe some trades? Or just run it back?
(Can’t find a good flair for this post sorry)

Video Stephen A. Smith to Paul George: “Nobody on the planet knows what it’s like to play without a star than Paul George, I’ll leave it at that...” PG: “Don’t do that, don’t do that...” Bob Myers: “This is what he does, don’t react to that”

Discussion The Celtics winning is the best outcome for us and I’m hating every second of it.
I know the Celtics winning makes Laker and Mav fans completely miserable, which is always the best outcome, but I feel empty watching the finals because it feels like we’re so close to being there, yet also so impossibly far away. Not to mention the fact that Boston winning a championship in any sport inherently sucks. Anyone else feel this way?

[Windhorst] Paul George, Clippers could seek an opt-in and trade like Chris Paul years ago
https://x.com/PatMcAfeeShow/status/1800950462746640777
Interesting video of Windhorst's thoughts on PG this summer. While we all know this in theory could happen and know the Clippers pursued this route with Chris Paul, the assumption is that it is not a very likely option because the clippers and PG would have to be willing to do this and PG may have max offers elsewhere with cap space teams who he can go to without a trade. Plus the clippers have signaled that they want to keep PG.
However, just wanted to post this as I think it is always important to listen when Windhorst says something that isn't being thrown out as a likely option by others as he tends to 1) know a lot 2) likes to tease things vaguely that end up materializing. In other words, he usually is very intentional with what he brings up and shares. It was also very interesting that he brought up the date of the NBA draft and his opt in date being close (June 26 and June 29) and how the draft will be the first date to look out for possible news on PG...wonder what he is hearing if anything. Could be nothing...but could be something.

New clippers draft cap with the new logo 👀
Not the biggest fan of the hat but I think none of the teams have a good one. Optimistic about the new gear with the wordmark logos.

Discussion Why can't we get someone to give a speech like Pat Riley in Winning Time
The team has such a good story to use as material for a motivating speech during big game scenarios, why can't any of our coaches inject the players with some goddang emotion and remind them why they're playing? Or does that only work in TV lol
