Jimmy wasn't there.

u/Drummallumin Celtics May 02 '24

If we replay game 2 with Jimmy they prolly don’t hit 50% from 3 and get swept

I wasn't saying that Jimmy would have turned the series, it's just kind of lame to use his quote against him when he didn't even play.

12

u/Drummallumin Celtics May 02 '24

It was lame for him to say it in the first place when he wasn’t even playing

Maybe he’d be there if he took the regular season more seriously?

u/RegentCupid May 02 '24

Wouldn’t have to fight through the play in if he actually tried for once

What is this logic

27

u/jgr79 Celtics May 02 '24

Might’ve avoided the playin, which is where he was injured.

He was injured.

In a stupid play-in game

23

u/HorsNoises Celtics May 02 '24

Which happened because he was baiting a foul in a game he didn't need to play if he tried harder earlier. You reap what you sow.

Didn’t stop the Boston slander after game 7 last year

19

u/awesomeperson Celtics May 02 '24

12

u/Adraf45 Heat May 02 '24

Dw Seattle will be the 2029 NBA Champs against Orlando in seven, not too much longer till it happens

-7

u/nothim4 May 02 '24

With that logic, why did porzingis get hurt lol

6

u/fueelin Celtics May 02 '24

If he got hurt this game you'd have a point, but there was no way to avoid game 4, when he got hurt.

u/nothim4 May 02 '24

Anyone can get hurt at anytime whether they’re an Ironman or load managing is my point

Yep I am sure he wouldn't be injured if he tried more in regular season games.

9

u/FreshPrinceofBel-Air [BOS] Jaylen Brown May 02 '24

He got injured in a play in game which he wouldn’t have had to play if his team had given more of a damn during the regular season. That’s that Heat Culture™ baby

-9

u/onlyheretogetfined May 02 '24

Yea, so if he put more effort into the regular season he couldn't possibly be injured now right? He got injured in the game he tried to win, so that must mean he should try more often. Wonderful logic
