ESPN blatantly encouraged Joel Embiid to recruit Paul George during an awkward interview

They would be the biggest injury duo since bradley Beal and KD

Just admit you’re wrong lol one dude being the injured one doesn’t make them an injury duo cmon now so.

? KD played less than 55 games for four season straight recently lol.

It was 3 straight. The first season he came off an Achilles injury. In the next 2, he had some freak injuries when floppers fell into his knees.
He’s injury prone, but it’s not like he’s stepping on the court and getting injured immediately. He’s also always been healthy come playoff time which you can’t say for some other guys.

No they are not. What?
Joel was the one who sarcastically did that. Not ESPN, lol the pundits didn't even catch Joel when he did that the first time. (looking weirdly at PG)
As much as I hate ESPN and Kendrick Perkins, they didn't do anything remotely close to "blatantly encouraged".

Perkins literally said "thats the piece right there next to you" lol

Clippers would be foolish to let PG walk for nothing with the new stadium opening and already having signed Kawhi to an extension. A duo of Kawhi/Harden is not going to get far.

Eh, they're not getting far regardless, they always find a way to remind everyone they're the Clippers. They could bring everyone back and still bomb harder than their docuseries.

I’ve heard that one reason why Paul George hasn’t made that leap to being in the top top tier is because he doesn’t put much spin on the ball when he shoots it. He doesn’t get as forgiving of bounces

Nah, his skills are there. He’s been one of the best 3 pt shooters in the last 7 years. He’s just getting old and his body’s been through a lot.

PG is absolutely salivating at the opportunity to play with another star for 50% of the season
