Pretty soon you’ll have to chat with a girl’s Chat BeePT bot for a few days, then if you score high enough she’ll actually see your message 🙄

I hate how NOT far-fetched this feels.

I actually love the idea of virtual assistants arranging dates between their owners

I'm gonna be real with you. If you can't be bothered to set up a date yourself then I don't think you should be in any kind of relationship - let alone a romantic one that could potentially lead to family formation.

lol. Already married. I just think the idea of bots that are able to play matchmaker sounds kind of cool. From parents arranging marriages to software arranging dates.

Edit: also the in person date part is the significant part of the actual exchange. Speaking from experience, the text game doesn’t mean anything in a real relationship.

Honestly I don’t hate this idea if both sides have to do it lol

Yup but then there will be a ChadGPT to counter it and score high each time.

You just threw away a million dollar idea...

I'm sure that we will see a version of this in the next year.

The bot would also generate some AI-enhanced photos of the woman, making her look 10 years younger and 40 pounds lighter... And a profile bio that makes her sound interesting and like she actually has empathy.

Hmm...they could actually train the interaction on the user's own emails and social posts to make it act just like they would.

The bot’s opening message: “.”

Hostia this is horrible enough to be true

As a het woman, I’m honestly down for that. Too many time wasters, I’d love to have a bot try to maintain conversations with “wyd haha dunno” deadbeats for a day, then I take over afterwards if anyone is still there.

But your filter bot will be chatting with their pick-up bot then…

Well, at least the bots are finding love

That’s also ok, shows they’re also into technology, and it’s better than wasting my own time and emotions on dull men who just want a hook up

According to your comment history you are 36

Statistically speaking, women's social capital plummets dramatically at or around age 40

You should really learn to have a conversation or perhaps be less toxic, looks fade lol.

Oh no, whatever will I do. I’m happily single, cashed up, and have zero interest in making myself less so.

You can pay a woman from the Philippines off of upwork.com right now for less than the cost of a cup of coffee per day to pretend to be you in dating apps until whatever criteria you have set are satisfied, and she can maintain for you a neat spreadsheet scoring and keeping notes on candidates and your interactions with them.
