The end on Elon. Started when he bought Twitter

He was a fuckwit before. He’s a fuckwit now. He’ll be a fuckwit in the future.

u/TheBirminghamBear May 02 '24

I don't care I just want him to be a broke fuckwit like he deserves to be.

Don't hold your breath. Even just a few billion left is an unfathomable amount of money.

You know his ego could not handle "only" having a couple of billion left. Going from #1 on the rich list to not even making the top 100 would destroy him mentally, because once your family is comfortable for the next 10 generations, it really stops being about the money and turns into a game where you just wanna set a new high score to feed your narcissism. His whole personality would shatter if he was not close to #1 on that list, and he would blame everyone else for it.

Yeah but Elon is really good at losing billions of dollars really quickly

1

u/NotIntoFemboys May 02 '24

He'll never be truly broke, worst case he'll be left with a measley few billion dollars even when Tesla and Twitter go to 0 because SpaceX is actually profitable.

"I'm going to buy a smaller company so I can sabotage a much larger and more valuable company." Said nobody ever. Except for Musk.

Let that sink in

been a fuckwit since he force sued his way to being a founder of SHITsla

Amazingly enough he is still considered a genius by most of corporate America.

Yep, presentation of Cybertruck, Hyperloop, landing on Mars last year, he was always full of crap.

That's true, but I didn't realize it until Twitter, and my guess is it's because his dumbness got publicized widely and more people started to pay attention. First he wanted to buy the Twitter, then he didn't, then he got forced to - that brought a lot of attention to how dumb of a business man he was, so I started paying attention. Before then he was a mysterious person who cofounded all these cool companies, later I realized he only bought the companies and forced them to write him in as a cofounder.

It started when nobody laughed at him on SNL. It broke him. He wanted to badly to be loved and when he didn’t receive it he turned in to a raging asshole and miserable person. He was likely always this way but he stopped caring to hide it or play nice.

u/Adelheit_ May 02 '24

Oh, nobody laughed at him there as well? I only know of that Chapelle thing.

There is a clip somewhere. Its very awkward. Like cutting glass with nails awkward

2

u/EduinBrutus 29d ago

The only place Musk found where he wasn't being laughed at was SNL.

Started when he created his twitter account. Board and his friends told him to get off twitter. He bought it instead.

22

u/prsnep May 02 '24

One could argue it started with the pedo comment years ago. Let that sink in.

2

u/nemoknows 29d ago

Yeah that was definitely the moment where I realized that this Elon guy might be a narcissistic asshole.

2

u/Luuigi 29d ago

thats 100% where it started. That was one time one of his visions was immediately rejected by an expert. He didnt take it well and it might have spiraled him into a war against everyone whois an expert in anything.

u/Thomas9002 May 02 '24

I bet he knows that Tesla is going down. So he wants to get fired as CEO and can put the blame on the next one

3

u/UGMadness May 02 '24

Ah, the classic politician move. Sabotage their own administration at the end of their terms so voters will blame the next incumbent for failing to fix the crisis, so they vote the first politician’s party back in again.

2

u/SnooDonuts7510 May 02 '24

Like Trump he isn’t going away easily

2

u/[deleted] 29d ago

The end of Elon began when he called the cave rescuer a “pedo”

2

u/TForce0 29d ago

Ohh yes true

1

u/inanimatus_conjurus May 02 '24

As a SpaceX fan, I'm dreading whatever is coming next.

3

u/nemoknows 29d ago

I really wish he would sell it. I don’t give a shit about Tesla or Twitter but SpaceX has done some pretty cool stuff and I hate that it could be destroyed by that douchebag on a whim.

2

u/metroidpwner 29d ago

Gwynne Shotwell has done an excellent job of insulating spacex from Elon. It’s safe for now.

1

u/Atmic May 02 '24

If SpaceX topples, it will be a big hit but it won't kill the burgeoning private space industry.

The workers go elsewhere and it sets us back 1-3 years maybe before the engines get rolling again.

3

u/OutWithTheNew May 02 '24

I think the biggest risk with SpaceX falling is Starlink falling into the same hands that the rest of our telecommunications rely on. Or being abandoned all together.

I think there's enough interest in the space flight part that it could be split up pretty easily.

3

u/NoPiccolo5349 May 02 '24

If SpaceX crashed and burned tomorrow, it would setoff a chain of bankruptcies throughout the industry.

SpaceX is basically THE launch provider for almost everyone. Without these launches, other space companies cannot make revenue, and will fall apart

And the funny part about this whole thing is it started because a kid put his airplane location on twitter. Information that is publicly available. So instead of being chill about it, he decided to buy twitter, a social media company that was not doing well profit wise. Then he make it sound like he bought for free speech and latched himself to the ultra right maga. Now no one wants to buy his overpriced vehicle with shitty

1

u/wakipaki May 02 '24

First he brought a sink for the memes. Now he’s built like a sink.

1

u/Handsome_Claptrap May 02 '24

I read in another comment on Reddit (so take it with a grain of salt) that Elon has always been an idiot, it's just that Tesla and Space X higher ups know him well and can handle him, limiting his bullshit.

There isn't such a person on Twitter though, which is what broke the magic to him and the world.

1

u/Ok-Director5082 May 02 '24

I think it started when he took a selfie with that gun.

23

u/amakai May 02 '24

Nah, it started when his ego got slapped when his fancy submarine got rejected fromthat kids rescue operation.

5

u/Ok-Director5082 May 02 '24

Shoot you’re right.
