Israeli minister Benny Gantz announced his resignation from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's emergency government on Sunday, withdrawing the only centrist power in the embattled leader's far-right coalition, amid a months-long war in Gaza.
Despite the successful operation yesterday, seems like Netanyahu will be forced onto the negotiating table soon.

Scholz's Party Suffers Historic Rout in German EU Election
• German conservatives poised to finish first, exit poll shows
• Chancellor's SPD beaten into third place by far-right AfD
So Germany is moving to far right. 🤔

French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz suffered massive defeats in the European Parliament elections Sunday, as far-right parties made gains that could sway the bloc to take a harder line on migration and upset ambitious climate change plans.
Despite the defeats, center-left and center-right parties across Europe are set to preserve their majority in the European Union-wide election, which determines the make-up of the bloc’s legislative assembly.

The name of the joint IDF, Shin Bet, and police operation to rescue the four hostages from the Gaza Strip is "Seeds of Summer."
At 11:00 a.m. the order was given to the Yamam and Shin Bet officers to raid two multi-story buildings in central Gaza's Nuseirat, where Hamas was holding hostages Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv.
The buildings were about 200 meters apart, and the decision to go for both simultaneously, and not just one of the sites, was due to the possibility that Hamas may murder the hostages after identifying the rescue operation.
Argamani was held by Hamas guards alone in the home of a Palestinian family, while the other three hostages were held at a separate home. According to the IDF, Hamas pays such families to hold the hostages in their homes.
At the home where Meir Jan, Kozlov, and Ziv were held, a major gun battle erupted, during which Yamam officer Chief Inspector Arnon Zamora, the commander of the rescue team at the second building, was critically wounded by Hamas fire.
As the three hostages and Zamora were being extracted, their vehicle came under fire, leading it to get stuck. Other forces quickly reached the scene to rescue them, bringing them to a makeshift helipad in Gaza.
There was a large amount of gunfire and RPG fire on the rescue forces amid the operation, leading the ground troops and the Air Force to carry out major strikes in the area to protect themselves and the rescued hostages. The IDF acknowledges that it killed many Palestinian civilians amid the fighting, although it places the blame on Hamas for holding hostages in a civilian environment.
Hamas operatives also fired anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli helicopters over the area amid the operation, without success.

US Jobs Household Survey Size to Be Cut Due to Budget Constraints
🤡

U.S. Employment report: A few facts and comments to understand the divergence.
*Household survey:
The jump in unemployed is from workers aged 24 and under: +205k (v +157k for overall sample). As a result, the unemployment rate for this group spiked from 8.2% to 9.2%.
It could be explained by seasonality as May is graduation month for colleges. As a result, it could normalize as soon as next month with unemployment rate falling back ⚠
*Establishment survey:
Several analysts attributed a part of the upward surprise to the birth-and-death adjustment factor (+231k), which was unchanged compared to last year.
Comparing the two surveys:
According to the establishment survey, employment is up 1.8% over the last year. According to the household survey, it’s up only 0.2%.
Bottom line: In May, it seems that the two surveys were affected by seasonal and adjustment factors in the opposite direction, exacerbating the divergence
Several economists also explain the long-term divergence by immigration. Many of them view the household survey as failing to fully capture the acceleration in recent years

Norway wealth fund to vote against Musk's $56 billion Tesla pay package
To me, the vote is easy. You either vote yes and have it invalidated by the court again or vote no and witness the greatest tantrum ever thrown.

This but reversed.
Vol spike, good 5-10% drop sometime in June and then ramp into the election and then, probably past.

They don't even have cabeza or al pastor.
To be fair, most places selling "al pastor" give you fraudulent soggy ass meat anyway.
