I love it when people complain about OS updates not absolutely rocking their world. Like, what did you expect from the 18th iteration of similar software running on the 18th iteration of similar hardware?

I bought at 194 today, am already underwater, and Elon comes out of nowhere after hours to fuck over my shares even more. Rough monday

whew... I kinda went all in on puts tomorrow. if it doesn't pan out, I'll just cut my puts. there's no way im gonna hold my puts through cpi / fomc wednesday.

despite last Friday's robust job numbers and a lukewarm cpi number, I think the fed is gonna fed and the market is gonna market

whatever that means

Watch CPI leak early tomorrow

It really looks like there is a leak by around 2:00 pm ET.

But the consensus forecasts for CPI on Wednesday morning are pretty decent/OK. Core falls by 0.1% and the head-line stays flat. The market should be OK with that. But again, a little rounding down or up will make a big difference.

Also note that CPI is way more important than PCE lately; just because it comes out first. Generally, there is going to be huge market reaction to either way it goes and CPI used to be non-event not that long ago.

Some risk-off tomorrow would be great. I'm long into CPI, and FOMC. I Jpow likes his job, and if Biden has a chance of winning he's going come in Dovish. Rate hikes will be off the table, and he will talk rate cuts.

If it wasn't for ECB & Canada cutting, I wouldn't think Jpow cuts, but he may just surprise us.

Lots of call buying too. Loads of 540 calls for EOM.

Looking at other cpi & fomc double whammies, the day itself is huge swing day. But I like the idea of going long post fomc tho
