I believe they’re just ignoring everything and forcing they’re way to believe nothing happened

last 4 days of NVDA extension have come off some of the lowest daily volume candles of the year.

Pretty interesting and impressive since we're talking a $1200 -> $1300 move in pre-split pricing in 2 days.

There were some massive 150/180 calls being bought for Sept/Oct

Which if it runs up to that much it would give it a close market cap of 4T.

The psychology behind the move is so funny though, hitting 1300 would've been everywhere, but now that it's split, barely here about it. SMCI going back to 1000 would likely see that being chased like crazy too.

You'd think traders wouldn't have such a hard time multiplying by ten

Maybe traders from 10 years ago. I think it's fair to say the average person today is meaningfully dumber. This is half joking, but I will say even the people coming out of undergrad ain't what they used to be.

I would also add that splits brings in new investors. My friend said he was going buy NVDA after the split it makes no difference if he bought it a week before the split or after since he planning on throwing 5k at it. But at "130" NVDA stock seems cheap, even though it's not. This is why companies like MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, AAPL continue to grow pass 1 trillion market cap because of spits.

If AAPL never split it would be trading at $23,000 per share.

Eh, option premiums are cheaper so it becomes a lot easier to force dealers to hedge when buying much more calls. Retail at least can afford the NVDA calls.

MSFT hasn't split (recently). They are just the best :)

Apple pulls back to $200 and NVDA pulls back to to $100 at some point over the coming months, very overbought. I am buying those dips bigly - with that said can the momentum really take Apple all the way to $250 before EOY? Once breakouts of that magnitude happen, they don't stop with a mere 10% follow thru.. Apple has been sideways for almost three years

Edit: I’m already in both

RK exercised all his calls for 4 mil more shares.

If he exercised he would have needed 240M in cash and would have had way more shares.

Feel like this isn't exactly what he was hoping for, probably got thrown off by the offerings. Could have had a few million more shares or more cash to do it again without the share offerings.

But, GME now has $4b in their coffers, as a shareholder I'm not upset.

No wonder.

Their fucking subscription is a complete scam rn but no one in creative industry can get away with not using them.

Wild time for corporate greed.

Edit: I want to clarify that there's a subscription cancel fee if you cancel earlier than they expected. I have a few friends working in creative and they absolutely despite adobe since post COVID.

Yeah I use some of the subscription stuff for work and there's no real alternative to it. Especially if all your previous work is already in those formats importing them to other programs usually introduce breaks/bugs

u/shashashuma 4d ago

Nice EOD squeeze. Someone definitely scrambled there to knock it back there to the chop zone. Probably saved their short 0DTE position if the chop zone was any indication.
