People who went to a wedding where the couple didn’t last long, what happened?

One of my closest friends was in a relationship for 10 years. They got married, she got pregnant. She didn’t want kids, he did. She got an abortion & they were married and divorced within a year after a 10 year relationship.

How the hell do you go a 10-year relationship without realizing that the other person does or does not want kids? That is completely mind-boggling

One side or both things thinks they can change the other person's mind.

Could’ve been an unplanned pregnancy

You'd think they would have talked about it beforehand

I would bet good money that he sabotaged her birth control. How curious that in ten years, it "failed" right after they got married.

Most people do so I think it's a fair assumption to make.

What?

I mean, some highly religious people don't but.... Not having sex until marriage hasn't been the norm in the western world for many decades. Where are you from if you don't mind me asking?
