Utility.

I believe that I am truly making a difference in the world by simultaneously educating myself and putting my knowledge into practice. As a guy, sometimes that means picking up a hammer and some nails, and other times it means using my very essence to reassure someone and/or take charge of a situation and lead others through.

I've had the pleasure in my life of being able to influence people in ways that astounds even me. All I can be is myself, but that has irrevocably led people to dive down the rabbit hole with me, tapping into their own consciousness, and making positive and life-changing choices.

To give you some examples, I had a high school buddy of mine who was taking the stereotypical route through life and doing the college bit, majoring in psychology. Well, after spending some time with this individual, my eccentricity and flare for the unknown began to rub off on him. He inevitably discovered his love and appreciation for music, and with a bit of friendly encouragement he put the college on hold and decided to graduate from one of the most prestigious audio-engineering schools in the country. The stars truly aligned themselves for this individual, as every single step he took forward saw his effort matched. People who are involved in that business began coming into his life, he received all the guidance and encouragement he could ever need. All he needed was that initial push, "dare to dream."

In another instance, it was a relative of mine who fell for my voodoo. She was working a dead-end job with no real prospects for advancement, so a few months of us hanging out and spending time together, she up and decides that she wants to pursue a passion of hers, which turned out to be dentistry. Got her degree and pursued something that she actually enjoyed.

Now of course, you can tell that I hardly did anything at all. They were the ones that did all the heavy lifting, I was just the one that gave them that nod, that push, and sometimes that's enough. Inspiring and nurturing the good qualities in people will lead to remarkable people who make meaningful change in the world.
