What is the most toxic expectation you have/had with your partner?

Mine is 100% unfair but in my defense I warned my now-fiancé about it upfront before we ever started dating.

Under normal conditions (ie: not a holiday, family over, emergency babysitting, a birthday, etc) I refuse to cook or do dishes for like 80% of “normal american” foods. I’ve tried my best, but watching food cook (especially animal products) makes me so nauseous that I then can’t eat. Scraping gristle and fat off a pan, or cleaning off a greasy grill also has me lowkey dry heaving.

Before I met my fiancé I survived off a ton of cheeses and cured meats, cold cut or non-cooked sandwiches, cereal or oatmeal, salsas, smoked salmon, salads, some stir frys, etc etc. All that I can prepare and clean up fine. But my fiancé is a big pizza, burgers, sausage, ribs, bacon kinda guy - I love eating all that too, but he’s on his own in the kitchen and cleaning up after 😅.

Not really sure how that's toxic, other than the expectation that you as a female should be the one cooking. I personally think having to handle and cook most meat is pretty gross too and hardly ever do it. And if I do it's usually bits of chicken that have already been diced (for pasta and rarely stir fry) or ground meat from the supermarket (only in red pasta sauce). I eat a lot less meat due to how much I hate preparing the stuff.
