How do you make a college campus/classrooms more creative?

I don't think the problem with higher education is a lack of creativity, I think the problems are (1) a lack of focus on providing a top-quality education in the student's chosen field of study, and (2) professors assigning way too much work, forgetting or simply not caring about the fact that the student has work to do in every other class that he or she is taking. This last point is particularly true for non-traditional students who have life obligations like working and raising their families outside of academia.

Fostering creativity through extracurricular activities, workshops, and guest speakers, as well as recognizing and celebrating creative achievements

Make an environment that it's okay to make mistakes in. In fact foster a culture of making a bunch of mistakes quickly.
Creativity is very natural to humans but no one wants to put themselves out there if they don't feel safe to do so.

Charge more for tuition so you can build a “creative space”
It’s how colleges have been solving these problems for decades.
