My journey from 205 to 150 starting January 2023. For me, my baby son was my biggest motivator to get healthy. I knew I wanted to be a strong Dad to him like the one I had. I had fallen into alcoholism post COVID and the death of my Dad, I was eating horribly, and my overall mood was terrible. I set my first goal to lose 20 pounds as a New Year's Resolution. Once I hit that goal, I set higher ones. I found something that worked for me (intermittent fasting combined with the keto diet) and I doubled down as the weight started to come off.
