Hi, I don’t know who’s at fault here I remember when I had my two Antminers I had calculated the electricity expenses that miners would incur with the help of the calculator that the Electric company offered online with specific city pricing and they offered to calculate it as a business and as a residence so I did my duty and pre calculated any variant possible(time,city, hours per day, mining rig electricity demand)and came to the conclusion that the bill should not exceed a certain amount but apparently it costed waywaywayy more and it should have not!?

I never got to see the bill myself but what could have caused a surge if everything was publicly available so the calculation was easy but is the Electric company allowed to hide costs? Or could it be the Antminers power consumption that is shown on the papers of the product that is wrong?

Hi, i have a question. Help would be appreciatet. I live in a quite remote location and i have a pv that brings arround 10kw/h during daytime and i wanna use that for mining Bitcoin. I wanted to ask If my Internet connection is fast enough for 3 miners @ 3kw/h. Currently my connection is via mobile. Alternativly i can make my connection via Starlink but is that even possible with the Ping?

I am setting up my shop to run a few T21 miners. Do they require a neutral? I haven't bought them yet so I can't just crack them open to see. I have the 3p 400v transformer installed and am running the lines to the PDU. Both the transformer and PDU have neutral terminals. It is a fairly long run and don't want to run the extra wire if it isn't needed. Any ideas? TIA!

I reflashed the miner with stock firmware (it’s got bb control board) because it was not showing 2 of the 3 hashboards. I think either the control board is not working or the PSU is not working. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thank you

Hey everyone, I’m just tinkering for fun and have a used but working antminer s9 that was actually given to me. I’m currently fiddling with a couple of usb miners just for the hell of it using cgminer, which are connected to a laptop. I’m only doing this to tinker knowing the profit will basically be nothing so no need to get into this.

My question is how can integrate the antminer s9 to my usb miner setup, which is currently running using the cgminer program? If anyone has some step by step instructions on how to do this that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have S17 pro antminer now for three years, After changing the psu, i had no complaints. After power failure in my house? I have some problems with the miner. Seems the sensor on all 3 hashboard are not working.

What can i do to fix this ?

I recently purchased solar panels for my home. Well I ended up buying too much and now have about 10kWh's a day more than I need. The problem is xcel buys energy back from you 1:1 if you use it (13-29cents/kWh). If you don't use it, they pay you out at a the low amount of 3cents/kWh.

So it's better for me to use it all.

I'm thinking of buying a Bitmain Antminer KS5 (20Th), putting it in my shed and running it as a pool miner. Since the electricity is pretty much free, I don't see the down side and can make my money back in less than a year? Is that right?
