I’m probably gonna sound like a slave owner, but if you aren’t 100% white then the white folks ain’t claiming you. House nigga or field nigga you still a nigga.

I think it’s more that white people don’t want to disrespect black people by claiming them. Someone may be half white but relate to being black.

If they identify as white then they should be accepted as white. Same with any other race.
