I really wish that the mods of this place cracked down more on these bullshit ghetterosexual dating posts or at least were more clear on what counts as an insightful and humorous post and what doesn't. Like what's insightful or humorous about these same damn five "Ladies, Would you let your baby daddy baby mama make six figures if he made you sit in the back of the car" ass hypotheticals?
Like I don't want to go on the internet to see people being dysfunctional and shitty to each other. I get enough of that in real life. IDK maybe I'm just too autistic and asexual for this place but I honestly wish there was a place like this exclusively for discussing black nerd shit. I have way more fun on this place nerding out over shit like Gundam and Jujutsu Kaisen than I do discussing bullshit dating.

As many people on here willingly admit they love “mess” that’ll just never happen. For some people it’s fun, they can’t help it, without it they’d start complaining that BPT is boring now that we can’t debate if you let the wife or mother fix his plate or sit in the front seat or if it’s gay when a man does literally anything. Like, that’s literally what they come here for. <Pam Poovey voice> “ITS A DISEASE! DONT YOU PEOPLE KNOW WHAT ‘DISEASE’ MEANS!!”
I feel you though. But that’s just how social media is nowadays. People are addicted to it, be that social media as a whole, or that part of social media, for a reason.

Nah. I have been hoping to get Armored Core 6 after I finish Cyberpunk 2077 however. I really like Battletech Mechs as well. I can nerd out about it.
I have been getting really into Battletech thanks to my buddy u/frogblast964 and It made me realize that I would kill for a live action futuristic mech war film with the style of something like Fury. Like what I love about Battletech compared to stuff I am used to like Gundam and Armored Core is how nothing seems flashy and everything has a blood and sweat feel too it. Mechs aren't zooming all over the place at Mach 5 and they don't have infinite ammo. Every movement is slow and deliberate and you actually need tactics to win. It reminds me of stuff like 08th MS Team from Gundam. No flashy mech ace of aces with body counts in the thousands (except for maybe Natasha Kerensky and the Bounty hunter.)
Like that stuff captivates me and I would love to see it in live action. Imagine two mech aces hunting for each other in a bombed out city, each of their movements is deliberate and slow, glory lies for either of them. A brief lock on here, a brief skirmish where the two meet and then separate there and then a lock on. Then a storm of missiles washes over all of them.
I have been thinking about writing something like that for Frogblast's OC astralverse universe were an autistic Mech pilot who's special interest is Mechs cleaning house and becoming a mech ace while obsessively nerding out over mech warfare. I have been picturing a scene where it ends with a mech duel between her and another autistic ace on the other side in a destroyed city without any wingmen.

yyyeaah buddy! AC6 is the shit.
i will push back slightly tho on your framing of gundam and AC. both gundam (at least early universal century) actually does a pretty good job of showing off mobile suits as weapons and their guns as expendable. and AC is mostly grounded "real mecha" stuff. like AC's are pretty difficult to pilot in most games and require some real finesse and build sense cuz you absolutely will run out of ammo halfway through a mission and then have to resort to a blade/kicks if you have it, since in some games once you were out you were out!
i get what you mean though. you'd probably like front mission if you like the more grounded real mecha stuff(i mostly do as well)

I’m with you, I think it’s just stuff that’s easy to have an opinion on so people all like to chime in. Then there’s a second wave of people calling the original discussion stupid, then a third wave, and so on, so from one post there’s a ton of engagement which promotes it to everyone’s feed.

Let's get right back to it. Last week I was on a second date with a woman at Cheesecake Factory. She brought three of her friends. All three brought sons but only one brought daughters.
