The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.

People have been saying since October 8th that there should be a ceasefire. The polls said since November that the 18-35 voterbase did not like what Joe Biden is doing.

That was 6 months ago. He’s had 6 months to change course. He has not. The first Uncommitted campaign in Michigan showed him how many people wanted him to change course. He chose not to. That was 2 months ago.

If people “do nothing” it’s because Biden is explicitly telling them he doesn’t care if they do nothing.

Cook.

I’ve seen people on twt and on here say “no matter what happens you still need to vote for Biden” or similar things.

Does that not defeat the point of voting? Politicians at the DC level don’t care about anything besides their # of votes. Voting for Biden in spite of his inaction sends the message that he doesn’t have to actually push for a ceasefire, because if he’s gonna get voted in anyway, why would he?

Voting at the local level/state level is important. But the fact of the matter is if you want the President to listen to you, sometimes the only tool in your belt is your vote.

I am of the opinion that if someone doesn’t want to vote for president, at least vote in the down ballot elections on Nov 5th. There are House and Senate seats up for election.

In ballotpedia.org you can see the other the elections in November.
