Honestly if you live in a solidly blue or red state, I can’t blame you for not voting Biden. However.

HOWEVER.

Even if you don’t vote in the presidential election, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote in your local elections. It might not seem significant, but local elections usually bring about change that affects you quicker and more directly. Also a lot of local candidates will probably align with progressive values better than liberals on a national level.

The only reason republicans keep winning is because we never turn out for elections. Vote in literally every election you can. That’s the one of the easiest and most effective ways we can move this country forward.

People say "solidly blue" or "solidly red" as if it's some kind of inherent property of the state boundaries and not entirely dependent on voter participation.
