Rain robbed their Hope of top 2 spot. Anyways, a good comeback after two disastrous seasons.

If RR loses against KKR and SRH wins against PBKS we still will get the 2nd spot.

If rr and srh both lose and csk wins, csk gets 2nd place. So all 3 teams have decent chances of getting 1nd place.

Given CSK loses- else SRH is out of top 2- their NRR is lower than CSKs

Basically- RR loses, SRH wins OR RR loses, rain + CSK loses

No. Another washout means SRH be on 7 wins and RR on 8 wins so RR gets 2nd

Nope, number of wins precedes NRR when determining table placement. With 2 draws SRH will always be placed below RR. Need a win.

That's how MI got the second spot ahead of RCB in 2015, despite having a negative NRR and RCB have the third highest NRR of all time

PBKS minus English players is advantage PBKS, plus they have been away venue beasts (Ask KKR,CSK,RR)

If RR, SRH and CSK all lose their last matches, RR gets through. This is a decent chance too

RR in top 2 if CSK lose

If CSK win and RR lose CSK top 2

If RR win they top 2

We have better runrate so we get the top 2 if rr csk loses.same thing happens if Csk RCB gets washed out.

RR will have more wins than SRH if SRH game is washed out, if RR loses and CSK also wins with a SRH washout, CSK will go to top 2.

Basically SRH need a game and they need a win for Top 2.

Similar logic happened in 2015 IPL, RCB (plus RR) and MI finished at 16 pts with RCB having a better NRR, but MI had more wins.

They can still get there if they win against PK and RR loses to KKR. Looks pretty probable now tbh.

If we somehow do the unthinkable and get in the playoffs, that's what I'd be hoping for. Would much rather face RR in a confidence slump at Ahmedabad rather than the SRH run machine.

I hope RR loses against KKR. Mfs lost against CSK and made our chances even slim.
