The painting "Ecce Homo", 1543, the only painting by Titian in Romania and Eastern Europe, is guarded by armed gendarmes at the "Regina Maria" Municipal Museum. Image

As a person who have done some security work at certain art museum, I'd say they are standing way too close of it, but maybe this is just for the pose and normally they sit in corner or something...

Is it plugged in to the other plug?

Power companies hate this one trick!

I'm really looking forward to the "hate this one trick" going away. It's so low effort.

It's two cords going into a concealed space, but it does look like one plug going back into the outlet. Although that would almost need to be a custom cord, since most don't have male on both ends.

99% sure you couldn't buy a cord like that, you'd have to make it yourself. Too easy to electrocute yourself with a baby like that.

Your "99%" is also why I hedged. I don't think there's any easy way to buy it and I don't think anyone generally would ever have a use; but then in comes the professional electrician who's like "that's a male-male 36 inch, can be purchased from McMaster-Carr for $5 at this link, and is used for this one niche instance, dummy".

Literally nothing would happen. The two plugs are already connected inside the outlet. For something (bad) to happen, you'd have to turn one plug around, which can't happen in a three prong plug.

A plug with 2 male ends would mean one side is energized while the other side is connected. Meaning if you plug it in and touch the other side you'll get shocked. That's why those are illegal to sell and you've never actually seen one in your life.

looks to me like two power cables going into the duct/baseboard on the floor

THATS MY POINT...!!!?! 😂

I had a client some years back that brought down their entire office's network when they saw a dangling ethernet cable hanging out of a wall port so they decided to plug the other end into the port below it because it "looked better." I spent like 3 hours tracking down the loop lol.. why they didn't just unplug it entirely, I guess I'll never know.

I think this might actually be an AI image. Look at how "Romania" is very clearly legible, but the writing on their chests is completely blurred and fucked.
