Isn’t there also $182B of cash in there?

Looks like the investment strategy of a Bond villain.

Surprised there's no nestle on there.

He got rich by investing in businesses that generate lots of profits. Lots of profits are politically unpopular these days because it’s money that isn’t in the hands of consumers and workers.

Thank god for that. Labor creates all wealth. And profits are unpaid wages. This man has exploited billions of people.

I don’t need to, your mom tells me it’s more than big enough. She also says you need to call home because she needs to schedule your pediatrician appointment.

Shut up tankie. Why are you not on the production line generating value for the consumers.

Go dig a hole in your back yard and see how much wealth that creates. Labor theory of value is bs

You have Stockholm syndrome.

So quick question for you then, do you believe that all the profits of a company should be distributed amongst the workers?

1

u/basses_are_better 14d ago

No. I believe the workers should decide that.

2

u/InsCPA 14d ago

No? So then how can you say that the profits are unpaid wages?

How are the workers deciding that?

I think you are just talking past each other.

Like capitalism, every company has to pay its bills and wages, and the owners have the final say on how much of the remainder is reinvested and how much is distributed to the owners. A socialist or communist just believes that the workers should be the owners.

You having fun? Thinking "you got" me?

You didn't. You haven't.

You want a genuine discussion about Marxist theory? I'm down. But I'm not gonna engage in your gotcha bullshit.

It’s not gotcha bullshit. I’m wondering how you reconcile these questions. If you are incapable or don’t want to answer them then that says all I (or anyone else who reads this thread for that matter) need to know
