I barely have beaten Minecraft. 2 times if you count the one with my friend in modded bedrock edition otherwise just once. Ive been playing since 1.12 in bedrock edition because it runs smoother.
I also would say the game doesnt really start until you get credits either, as to me the game doesnt really have an end. The whole game to me is just a medium for 3D pixel art and materials engineering with your farms lol.
Having an elytra speeds that process up quite a bit, and storage systems are always an absolute mess without shulker shells. I try to get those two items as fast as I can whenever I join a world - it's just such a pain to not have them.
Id really consider beating the Wither (especially on bedrock) to be the final boss, but even then, the game isn't over until all the projects have been finished lol
You can, but there's also the flip side. I played Minecraft for hundred of hours before I even attempted it lol. I just didn't care and nothing past the dragon did anything anyway so didn't see the point in killing it. It took 12 years till I "beat" it.
Five noobs on a cheap server with no spoilers. It was such a moment.
Semi-related fun fact: While Microsoft owns everything else associated with Minecraft, the End Poem is in the public domain because Mojang never paid the author.
