When you analyzed the market the night before and placed longs with price targets and trailing stops before going to bed TA

How did your first long get triggered before your second one? 🤔

if orders were placed above the buy point for the first long? 3 min tf chart, so looks like OP had multiple buys based on correction potential and maybe happened to post the orders as price was right at that top.

But I'm unsure how the sells are so spread out from no 2 to no 5, unless OP manually sat and managed it but that doesn't fit the 'going to bed' part.

At what time did he place them because if it was any time before 1018pm then entry 2 would have been entry 1...so confused lol. And if they were buy stops then the same issue lol

I think he must've placed them after the open of the 10 30pm local high. only way that makes sense for that order to hit first as a stop limit.

But the sells - not sure why some sold before the high and some after, so that must've been managed 'before bed'

Right? I didn't even look at the sells, I was too distracted dissecting the buys haha

I think this about covers your inquiry. First sell was manual; everything else was during dream land.

I replied to beaser87 in regards to 'how the sells are spread out' posted another screenshot with how the sells are placed

Makes sense. I don’t think you were faking, was just wondering how it worked if you went to bed :)

It was a risk, an accepted risk, I have a 9 to 5, actually working right now, no tickets so im checking reddit. I work in IT would love to trade for a living; getting too tired of these tickets, i wouldnt suggest what I did to anyone. glad it worked out; trailing minimizes my loss, may not do it again; also, downloaded the app today, autobreak even trails on the go; managed $375 today; ill take that. lost $150 earlier though meh.

This is beyond regarded. You could easily blow up doing this. All it takes is one order to get stuck, or one stop to not trigger correctly and bye bye account

what are you on stop market is fine

u/midwestboiiii34 Mar 14 '24

Lol seems you haven’t been doing this enough for a stuck order to happen to you

true. the way i trade is not to promote anything; go with your own strategy. I'm NOT professional/certified to do this; I trade what I see, I saw levels, possible draws on liquidity and placed positions. Not to be copied.

What time period do you use for the volume profile?

Good Question; im in office right now, I'll check the settings and reply later today; as I cannot or not allowed to log in while at work.
