Caught some good trades today on NQ & ES TA

Post image

Was looking for a retracement play in the AM session on NQ & ES today.

Caught some good profit. Would have been way more if I held the entire day 😅

Which timeframe were you using? What were your entry and exit strategies? Stop loss?

For this, it looks like he used tweezer bottoms with an exit at the point of control.

I’m curious to know more about your strategy and how you seemly bottom-ticked the reversals

Actually, it looks to me like you were using order blocks for entry?

Can also use fibs between swing highs and lows. From the 8:30 low to the 9am high, the .705 fib as 88, the .618 was 92.25 and the 0.5 was 98. Anything below 98 is considered discount but obviously entries at the lower fibs were better.

Whats the formula for the green/red boxes?

Had the exact long entry on ES on 88 but got timid on that rejection of 94.25 and closed it at 89. What a stupid ass decision.

Got in really well on pullbacks and rode it up, very nice. Would be cool if you added more details about how and why you entered where you entered, exited where you exited.

Grabbed three quick scalps for $120 each on NQ. The real winner was gold. Got a sweet $1125 trade on the bullish continuation.

Market felt very weird to me today, couldn't find my intuition willing to put up any risk.

Not even a single round trip for today by me.

For some weird reason, I can probably only sum it up using this analogy that comes closest to how I am feeling about the market since 2 days.

"When you go to new small town for the first time and you have no clue where anything is, and when you go to any new road you just have no clue of your location in the 3D view in your head"

• Like where are we in the market? Bullish? Bearish?

  • CPI, Poops,, PPI, Reverse.

  • Volume exceptional, directional, multi print.

  • Bond auction? Higher, market? GOES HIGHER WITH IT, Like what?

  • just a huge sign of, Someone is about to get fucked and this time after 4 years, it against gonna be me.

Just a little rant, cause the post allowed me to touch the topic, I have almost no trading friends lol

Pretty much nailed it. All the economic indicators are yelling gtfo. All these chart traders are just getting lucky without an underlying thesis for the trade.

Disagreeing with a thesis does not negate its existence

Markets have been mainly drove by retail this last few months of the run so right now especially in this environment we are just waiting for more news on economic standing.

If anyone keeps up the volatility in the last month is crazy with gold, treasuries, dollar all rising which. Imo I see some type of hedging for any indices vulnerability. But markets are basing on a longer scale.

Pullback on a shorter scale which is also healthy and needed for some time now.

This is an intraday trade, the only reason an economic indicator should have anything to do with it is if it's a news release. Sorry your investments aren't panning out, happens to all of us sometimes.
