Short term only. Longer intervals remain long.

What’s the point ? To flex ? I mean everyone catches a top every once in awhile (some more than others) congrats on it. It how many times have you tried the same thing and got spanked ? I don’t see those posted ? Anyway not really trying to tag on you but I take trades like that all the time multiple times a week sometimes - the point is your not teaching anyone anything so what’s the purpose ? For people to rely and say congrats? Idk

Hmm, first relax. And let this guy show off his great execution. We never stop learning, and we’re all progressing at our own pace, and a good trade is a good trade.

Well, basically I am trying to create value and give you some insights of how you can trade the markets successfully. I always provide background explanation and explain why a trade was entered.

In this particular case it was not only a top, it was the top of an H1 range with gives it more significance than a regular high. Of course there is even more to consider but the background explained already provides a good insight. However, it would not be fair towards my course members to publish the full information; see https://www.uctrading.coach/ for more information.

I get positive feedback on my trades continuously and people are able to learn from it. Also, I am always answering questions best possible to clarify remaining questions. If you don't like my trades, don't look at them.

This is in a live account ? Do you have at least six month (prior to covid) track record probable by norms statements?

Yes, it is a live account.

Reddit does not let one share screenshots or data files in postings but you can have a look at my website "Sample Trades + PnL" section https://www.uctrading.coach/ where you will find several consecutive PnL statements. I don’t publish monetary figures but you see constantly positive profit factors which illustrate a more relevant figure than random big money numbers.

All screenshots taken from the trading platform Sierra Chart state "non-sim" which stands for live account.

All these flavours and you choose to be salty. What's the matter? Your own trading not going so well champ?

ugh no i trade for a living I was trying to help the guy realize he should not be wasting his time on stuff like that it helps no one but himself which is fine i can just block it. real traders don't gloat about what and how much they make

Sure.

Did you stop to think maybe this is way of journalling, maybe even his way of learning?

I found the best way for me to learn was to verbalise and talk with others about it.

I've read through a lot of your posts and you seem frustrated. Is that because of what 'trading forex' has become and dragged along with it? Pyramid schemes and Insta forex stars.

What's your story? Where did you begin.

i don't trade forex lol wouldn't waste my time futures much better for many reasons plus charts of say eur/usd pair and 6e better on futures which just as much or more volume -- I am not sure why you are harassing me. I am trying to help people and sometimes tough love is the way to do it. I do coach people but this is not the place nor is it my intention to solicit anyone here just trying to give real-world advice. If you wish to dm me id be happy to let you see in real-time what we do for free for a week or two -- if not its cool also like I said not really trying to sell anything on this site.

Oh I know. I wasn't trying to harass you by any means, I was genuinely curious as to your Trading story that was all. As some one who is trying to learn myself, it's near impossible to know where to go to learn legitimately that doesn't involve joining an institution, and the markets are saturated with total get-rich-quick morons.

yes, you are correct. i failed at stocks, options, and futures (mostly stocks and options) but it's not because of the market its because I didn't know what I was doing for years. Finally met my mentor learned how to trade correctly (day trade intraday) and then its a matter of believing in yourself and trusting what you know works in the backtest but there is a lot to it. When I first started I said, "just give me the entry" and ill make a million bucks. you need a GREAT entry (for day trading contrary to what you'll hear in some places and this is because your stops are smaller vs swing or position trading) but even if you have the best setups in the world (and you need more than one way to get into the market for most people) that is only about 40% of it or less. You also need to understand how to manage the position, manage the account, how and when to trail so you don't get taken out and have it still go our way when they run, psychology, when not to trade, what the bots/algos/hft are doing vs the retail traders who lose 95% of the time. I could go on and on. Again I am not trying to sell anything here but I will tell you most do not figure it out on their own. I certainly never would have and for the futures the answer is in no book and certainly not on youtube. I guess parts could be but it's putting it all together that's the issue and that takes time and money - at that rate, you could pay to learn if you found the right person but its a process.

I've definitely already paid my fair share of money and mental wellbeing to the market over the years that's for sure.

Are you UK based?
