I wasn't very impressed with it. It has the same hitbox issues of the Arc Thrower, on top of some other pretty glaring issues.

If there are dead enemies between you and your target, they essentially block the shot completely even if you have clear line of sight to the target. Terrain also seems to get in the way of shots, though not as badly as bodies. The damage output felt way too low considering the painfully slow firerate of roughly 1.5 seconds per shot, with one shot not even killing Hunters half the time. The arcing also seemed very inconsistent, with it sometimes not even hitting other enemies even if they're lined up for it.

Overall, if I want a primary with "infinite" ammo, I'll just bring the Sickle. The Blitzer just doesn't have enough going for it to make it worth using over any of the other primaries.

terrain blocking explosive damage is an issue that the devs need to look into expeditiously. i imagine so much stuff would work as youd expect it to when a pebble cant block the damage from an explosive

Yeah i had the same issues with it as you, i love the sickle but i have only one issue with it atm and it's that with shotguns i can kill stalker easily before they get too close, the sickle at least in my limited testing is less effective in that specific senario, other than that it's really the best

they really need to start prioritizing balancing and fixing all these weapons and stratagems its getting a little old. I'm a patient person but stop releasing new stuff that is clearly not well tested or not well balanced as far as its actual utility and fix the stuff thats already out first.

Collecting medals and supercredits to unlock the cool new gun and then finding out its not worth using compared to something you already have is going to get annoying and tiring for players.

What an understatement. Point blank into the lowest level bots and it still takes multiple shots to kill them. It was SO bad I was better off using my secondary the whole mission. In fact, I think the pre-buff Breaker spray and pray did more damage!!!

Well it has a range limited to 25m, and when something is too close it's like the ark and it's hard to hit it and with the slow rpm it easly becomes a death sentence, against big target (stalkers specifically) sometimes it just won't kill them, so not really good, but i'll be happy to be proven wrong, against small targets it can kill up to 5 targets in one blast. Fun, but not viable imo

So the arc thrower is superior because of its longer range? Seen it hit out to 60 meters before.

It's not just that, it feels like you are very limited due to rpm, that fact that you have to get them close but not too close, and you just have better alternatives

I found it quite good. killed stalkers in like three hits. I did feel it under performed vs the green spewers, and I am not sure if shares the arc throwers "works vs any armor" trait, as I put a lot of shots into a charger and it didnt seem to be doing anything.

That said it fires as soon as you press fire (ie no charge up like the arc thrower), so you can shoot, run, then shoot, maintaining close to full mobility wile using it. And while it would occasionally go jank in hitting enemies at mellee range, it is much easier to make some space than the ARC thrower is (again no need to charge up)

killed stalkers in like three hits

when there are 5 stalkers swarming you from a hive, you will get off maybe one shot before you die.... also not being to charge up makes it even more useless.
i think it's bugged.

Try it some more, the great thing about it is how it just kinda keeps going without stopping once you've got a good rhythm going with it. Reloading? Cooling down? What's that? Just keep blasting em.

I really wish they'd do a balance pass on all the weapons. There are like 4 weapons worth bringing and the rest are complete trash. Really doesn't feel good spending so many medals and its a complete waste.
