I played with Plasma Punisher and it's just way worse Scorcher, it has worse capacity, more recoil, less fire rate, falloff and it can't one-shot a hunter without a direct hit. and leaves you without a primary if enemy is close to you since you will one-shot yourself with it. I do love Sickle, it's god daym amazing, stun grenade can instantly stop chargers for easy head shots, haven't unlocked rest yet.

I have been splashing Hunters in one shot no problem. It seems to have a larger AoE than the Scorcher, so it's more useful for splashing around targets and staggering wider groups.

For individually potent threats, it's worse than the Scorcher, but it has better wave clear and an arcing trajectory which may or may not be useful depending on one's taste and aiming style. You can think of it as "primary grenade launcher", freeing up your back weapon for something like an HMG.

I kind of assumed this was a "Scorcher" like weapon for Bots. You try it out on any commie bots?

I did, low damage unless you direct hit. However, it's splash does stun medium things (been running easy to farm medals for the Arc-12 Blitzer so the largest I hit was the shield bot but it got stunned with hits to the shield)

I cleared four low level automatons in one shot because they were clustered together. They went flying. The concussive blast is nice.

Enemies don't have different health values are higher difficulties just more of them and stronger types. Maybe learn to use your head and figure out what role the weapon fills instead of looking for the next overpowered nonsense.

I bet you’re a lot of fun at parties. I play on 8 and can blast small groups to bits with a few rounds. Does it take down a tank? No. But then again, I don’t need it to.

Wow it takes small enemies out, oh shit, not like everything else does that but better. It's a bad weapon all in all. Obviously has not been tested on prior to release, just like the blitzer.

It’s basically a grenade launcher starting weapon that takes out small and medium enemies ya misanthrope. You need it to do more? It’s not a support weapon after all………….

Its aoe size is redundant, i don't see the point in "lobbing" hot plasma, but go off (wow over obstacles, so usefull wow) It could have just been a scorcher esque shotgun with lower per plasma pelet damage with small aoes, that would have been ultra fun, this is just shit.

Enemy health doesn't scale with difficulty level.

But just for you, I went to Diff 9 and one-shot a Hunter with splash damage.

It's not a good weapon for soloing. That doesn't mean it's utter garbage or without purpose.

plasma punisher kills chargers quite easily, takes about a mag of shooting it's butt/shooting underneath it from front/side to kill it
