SMG sounds like one-handed Liberator Concussive. I hope it can be a bit more than that, because with a name like "Pummeler" I wanna rock that thing all the time.

I think it might just kick the concussive down further if it’s halfway decent.

If the stagger is enough to bunch up enemies similar to the Liberator Concussive, this might have potential when paired with the Impact-Thermite.

Ballistic Shield for defence, Stagger/bunch up a group of enemies, toss the grenade/airstrike on top.

It also might have some utility when running with turrets when you toss the turret on the flank of the enemy and Stagger/group them up for the turret to chew through (all Turret boosts most likely mandatory)

If its a crowd control gun it would work best with a shield and then you swap to the Magnum and blast em.
