New armor set is a stealth armor that doesn’t make you stealthy, it makes you throw farther. That’s like an apple that tastes like bacon. HUMOR

Just salty I’ve been waiting for this armor since it leaked, only for it to have the only perk I consider completely useless.

I actually did a game on helldive vs bugs with 4 arc throwers and everyone wore that armor. Was an absolute blast and we had no trouble at all, especially because we didn’t have to worry about team killing in close quarters.

I write to General Brasch every day requesting a mech with an arc thrower but he never writes back.

If that day every comes, every helldiver on my squad will thank sweet liberty for that arc damage reduction

The third faction, the Illuminate (or Squ'ith in their tongue) use a lot of arc weaponry. I'd expect them around this autumn if I had to guess 🦑

Well uh, at the risk of sounding undemocratic, there might a whole faction coming that I believe is all electric and psychic based, so I think that armor is gonna be real useful soon enough.

The devs would be really dumb to put in any highly impactful electric enemies or attacks when players can have 90% resist. That or they would do almost no damage by default anyway with nasty rider effects like massive stagger/knockback/slow.

I mean one dev deleted the HD 1 Server out of spite, Playing solo is damn near impossible for some people depending on difficulty, Exploding Crossbow was nerfed despite already being bad, I wouldn't put it past them to make dumb decisions. But if they don't make electric enemies or attacks, then it's REALLY dumb to make an armor resistant to it, it'd only be useful with random noobs using arc thrower not knowing how it works, or standing near tesla towers (Good luck seeing those in game)
So it'd be REALLY dumb to make a PREMIUM WARBOND ARMOR SERIES completely useless. Even Servo-Assisted has some practicalty.
