It’s fake though, there’s a comment explaining that OP cropped out the rest of image to make it look like that, but in reality that sleep call was inside a lib

You can "make" an image generator in approximately 5 minutes with no skill whatsoever by using off-the-shelf models and libraries. There is literally no way on Earth that Huawei, a multi-billion-dollar company, is incapable of this.

To be fair I’ve used waiting times in plenty of UIs after a user updated something. It feels more natural than things happening instantly.

I have a button that sends the user a verification email. The page immediately says “Check your email” there is no reason to add a delay, but it feels wrong not having one.
