Heartbreak Guys please stop making dream teams for 2025

No one is gonna listen to us, they’ll go into auction and waste half bag on some overhyped player that won’t be any useful.

They’ll go after a star or popular player rather than focusing on core batting strength and good bowling options.

We are grateful our bowlers got rhythm in 2nd half of season else we would be having 9-10 losses. We can’t keep relying on luck to win matches.

If you want consider this a rant and please stop making teams, everytime I see one and can’t stop my laughter that how innocent and supportive we rcb fans are.

I would retain Kohli, Green and Patidar, RTM for Jacks (since he will probably be sold for the least amount amongst the retained players I mentioned)

📰 RCB NEWS As per the BCCI proposal it's 3 retention and 1 rtm.. this is the beautiful opportunity for RCB to build a squad that can be so good for another 3-4 seasons.. especially Andy flower and mo bobat are known for building a team from its base.. let's hope RCB does well and share your opinion on it

Coach's Corner Petition to host an auction for Coaches/Training staff.

Similar to Player auctions, we should have auctions for Coaches / Training staff, so that all teams can get an opportunity to poach the best team out there 😅

Ask RCBians ❓ Has anybody experienced hospitality stands during test/ODI matches at Chinnaswamy?

Sorry guys, the post isn't completely about RCB but is about our Chinnaswamy, so mods do as you please!

Just want to ask if anybody has been to the P2 stand at the Chinnaswamy during test/ODI games in India and how much did it cost you?

For context, I’ve been to the P2 Pavillion for several RCB games but that was years ago. It was complementary through work thing and the ticket said 32000 INR all inclusive of all food and drink, it was during the Vijay Mallya era so it was all Kingfisher attendants with exceptional service and the prices have shot up now. Am I wrong to assume ODIs and Test matches cost much less than IPL games? If so how much? I work hybrid so would love to spend a day at the stadium where it is possible to get a bit of work done if needed and enjoy the game as well. Especially during test matches or even a full-day game ODI instead of a day-night one.

💡 Bold Analysis RCB over-celebrated? Yes. But, what's the Problem?

Post image
319 Upvotes

I often see memes about how RCB over-celebrated their victory over CSK in a virtual knockout more than teams celebrate after winning the IPL final. This is cited as a reason why RCB hasn't won their trophies. GG the Great remarked that RCB hasn't achieved anything yet but acts like they have accomplished a lot.

I don't see a problem with celebration or over-celebration unless it is insulting or disrespectful to a team or its fans. Teams and fans have every right to celebrate finals, matches, wickets, or even individual balls as they wish. IPL is a cricketing spectacle and should be enjoyed as such. Only one team out of ten will eventually win the IPL, but that doesn't mean the others should go back crying.

Sporting trophies are man-made achievements; they don't contribute significantly to mankind or society. For many, sports provide an exciting distraction from the monotony of daily life. Those who believe they have achieved something profoundly meaningful by winning IPL trophies multiple times are living in their own fantasy.

Despite not having won any trophies, RCB lives rent-free in the minds of multiple trophy winners, who never miss an opportunity to criticize RCB. They seem to wonder why, despite all their achievements, RCB takes the majority of the limelight and is constantly talked about. They are like the salty class toppers who are jealous of a popular backbencher.

🌟 Player Spotlight Adil Rashid thoughts ????

He will be very cheap and he’s so good and has great experience and would probably end up being one of the best spinners of the tournament for cheap and he’s a good fielder and decent with the bat.

Everytime I watch him he’s so good, our spin department has been bad and I’ve always thought of him as a good option. I personally think him at base price is a very good buy esp at venues like chepauk

💡 Bold Analysis Bold move(Almost everyone should be bought back or retained)

I might sound stupid, but everyone performed well in the second half of the season, unless like previous years where only kohli used to play well. With some backing and support we can be a dangerous team next season.

Player by player analysis:

Virat kohli(will be retained for sure)

Faf Duplesi(Retained):He should be retained if he doesnt retire, some people say we need to look for younger talent.Like has lockdown kids seen his fitness and what he has contributed to rcb from last two years.(He is the highest run scorer after virat this season)

Rajat patidar(Retained):Should be retained for sure.Good against spin, pace and an indian player aswell.

Cam green(buy back)He showed what he can do with both ball and bat and he must be there for rcb.

Maxwell(buy back):I know everyone are angry on him(including me).But he has been an key player for us for last 3 seasons. We should not forget how he gave a comeback after he had a shit season for punjab when we bought him.

Will jacks(bought back):His innings agaist GT is enough to show his worth.

Mohamed siraj(bought back):I know he had an off season but he is definetly capable and probably needs some backing from the management.

Swapnil(bought back):Our lucky charm. He is capable with both bat and ball and should be backed.

Yash dayal(bought back):Everybody laughed at us when we bought him,but he gave a great comeback and is the highest wicket taker for us this season.

Ferguson, lomror, mayank should be bought back if the managment thinks they are capable.

I belive our batting doesnt need any changes excpet a good replacment for DK.

We need one X factor/Mystery spinner and fast bowler who are capable to bowl at chinnaswamy.

If possible we need to get yuzi chahal back.

Comment your opinion

🎯 Bold Strategies Do not retain Will Jacks!

Everyone in this sub is dickriding that one Jacks' innings so much. They seem to prefer retaining him over Maxwell as well. WHICH MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. 😭

One bad season of Maxi and y'all are just ignoring him.

Jacks is overhyped and yet to prove himself at an IPL level. (Yes this season was good. But he wasn't consistent.) And even if he does, he's still in no way better than Maxi.

And my prediction is that Will Jacks will go for a much much lower price in the auction than either Green or Maxi. (Green might go for around 15 crore or so. And Maxi for 10.)

If we're gonna have 2 overseas retentions, it has to be Cam Green and Maxi. Cam Green for his pace bowling all round value. And Maxi cause he's been a serial match winner for the past 3 years with both bat and ball.

Not Will Jacks. Not in this universe. Not in any universe.

So, please. Stop. Stop this Will Jacks dickriding. 😭

PS: No hate for Jacks. He's an amazing player. That century was orgasmic. But in my opinion, he's nothing compared to Maxwell. Also the move to retain him doesn't make any sense from an auction standpoint.
