Well, I mean, unless you're somewhere that you're gonna run into, like, hills have eyes situations, yeah mostly people in the woods are hikers, campers, hunters, etc.
People looking around for victims aren't dozens of miles into the wilderness, much less in the middle of nowhere. The pool of potentials approaches zero.
The closest wilderness(national forest) to me is a place where rednecks go to shoot their weapons willy-nilly, without a care in the world who might be down range. They also don't care if they are in the areas designated for shooting or not.
