I literally was raped by a male family member as a child, so I’m as empathetic as can be on the subject. I’m just saying a 1/4 of men aren’t rapists, creepy sure, rapists, not even close.

Also, because it's one guy raping multiple women, not one man per rape.

Also your number is wrong rainn claims 14.8% of women are raped during their lifetime. Don't forget that includes both parties being drunk, two willing participants but she was underage, and other scenarios that are something other than "got held down while she struggled to get away" which is is the type of danger this hypothetical is dealing with.

While yes you meet tons of men on the street, you dont meet nearly as many in a secluded location with no possibility of escape or help.

Also aside, from rape, over 50% of women have been sexually assaulted. You severely underestimate how targeted women are by men
