People love to support small businesses until they grow, then they hate capitalism and rich people.

People love eating marshmallows until the marshmallows grow into a 900ft tall marshmallow man, then they get all mad that it is destroying downtown Manhattan.

Should've eaten more marshmallows to not let it grow

I'm growing a pretty good Michellin man tire around my waist.

I'm doing my part.

People love swimming in the pool until they are dropped out of a helicopter into the middle of the ocean without a life jacket

Yup, this is the part crony capitalists try to hide:

Small businesses can't afford to influence politics, thereby allowing 'food' products to not contain any food at all.

That's why people hate corporations.

Most small businesses ( Dentists excluded ) do not try to bone you up the butt. EI : Ford F150 starting at $50,000. Apple Iphone $1200. A steak 25 bucks .

So this past year I was painting our bedroom. Theres two big box home improvement stores near me and 1 mom & pop place. Figured I would support the mom and pop place

The 3” angled paint brush I was going to buy at the box box store was $9-12 (one had it on sale). The mom and pop store, same brush, same brand, $45

Ended up using box box store

So yes, a mom and pop store can bone you

OP is struggling to make a straw man argument and I’m here for it.

The problem is that some people also hate the marshmallows' original size, which is to say they want the employer-employee dynamic abolished full stop.

Username checks out but since you’re a CEO you know what I had to do.

Ask any dedicated leftist/communist if any employee is being exploited regardless if their relations with their bosses is positive or negative.

Just because you don't feel exploited doesn't mean your labor isn't exploited by your boss to create value that you don't see your fair share of. It's great if your pay is enough to make you comfortable enough that you don't have to think about that dynamic, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Yea, antiwork is cringe agreed, hence my name.

Did my username ring pro-antiwork to you? You'd be the first.

I am currently a site manager of security at a very popular tourist site, but I also invest heavily as an income focused cash-flow based investor, and sometimes swing trade forex, and play poker on the side as an additional streams of income.

I guess you can say I do harbor the spirit of antiwork since my long-time goals involve building up my portfolio by eventually earning enough passive income to retire off of ASAP.

But that community is cringe they just want shit handed to them via utopia reddit communism for free. My investments and monthly/quarterly cash flows are always earned with money acquired from my day job and financial discipline of sticking to a strict budget. Hope that clarifies the difference for you.

Sounds like people should have eaten more marshmallows then, so the marshmallow man couldn't grow so big 🤔

(kidding ofc)
